Amazing place w a lot of room to roam. The sinkhole is an unreal little oasis for swimming with a little area to hang out w a fire pit. Words really don’t do the property justice. Absolutely will be back soon.

Such an awesome experience! The land is beautiful and there's plenty of room to spread out. The sink hole is stunning and crystal clear! I'm still shocked that this natural Florida paradise is tucked away, hidden in the trees, just on the side of the road. Who knew? Bring a hammock and your bathing suit. You will not regret spending a night or two in this slice of paradise.

This was such a peaceful camp spot. We really enjoyed our time here swimming and just taking in all gorgeous nature around us. Having the sink all to ourselves was such a treat. Especially after experiencing the chaos of Ginnie on a weekend, getting to swim alone here felt extra special. It was also giving me serious Mexican cenote vibes. Who knew there was a slice of Tulum right here in our backyards. It was truly a tropical paradise hidden in plain sight, we loved every moment.

This site was unbelievably beautiful, pictures truly don’t do it justice. The host was amazing and accommodating and my boyfriend and I’s pup loved being able to run all over the land. The sink was incredible.

Really cool spot, there's lotta ants in areas so I'd recommend camping towards the middle of the field around the groups of trees. And bring a pool skimmer net for ideal jewel sink conditions there will be some leaves n stuff floating but underneath it's like a spring and ice cold and blue 💙 overall a great spot but be prepared with bug spray, tarp under your campsite

great piece of property! We enjoyed watching the deer , checking out the spiders and hanging by the sinkhole. We were here on 4th of July and got to see some fireworks too which was cool. The spiders are golden orb weavers and won’t bother you. If you’re lucky enough like us, we were able to see their golden silk strands. They are fascinating and are only by the sinkhole not where you camp. Don’t let the comment about the ants deter you.. while they were horrendous, the owner is aware and will take care of it :) the water was 80 degrees in July and a little debris from past storms, but that didn’t stop us from going in! It was surprisingly cool for the temp (we brought a thermometer because we like to cold plunge) anyway, we will definitely be back in the winter time !

Camping on Micheal’s property was awesome! Jewel sink itself is absolutely stunning and there is tons of open space around you. It’s a great location, not far from Newberry, so you can make a town run if needed. Micheal himself was super kind and helpful! My only downside is the insane amount of ants (fire & regular) that are present in the camping area, just something to make a note of! bring tall boots LOL

We loved camping here! We chose to tent camp and it wasn’t bad. We saw deer passing through the land and loved swimming in the sink. It was an amazing experience for us.

Michael is an awesome guy, a true stuard of Florida natural History and Nature.
This place is incredibly special and it's protection from development is fantastic!!! This place needs to be preserved for future generations and special experiences with family and friends. Our experience was nothing short of amazing!!!

We had an amazing time at this private campsite! It was the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway, and our dog loved it just as much as we did. The spring was beautiful and refreshing, making for a great place to swim and relax. One of the coolest features was the unique rock formation sunken into the ground—it added such a special touch to the landscape. We also had a blast building fires in the evenings, enjoying the quiet and natural beauty all around us. This place is a hidden gem, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a secluded and memorable camping experience!

Michael’s property is an absolute slice of heaven. My partner, our dog, and I came here to unplug and recharge, and it delivered exactly what we needed. The property is stunning, with a peaceful seclusion that feels rare these days. The springs were crystal-clear and refreshing, giving off that magical “Old Florida” vibe, and the open grassland was perfect for letting our dog run and play.
We’re so grateful to Michael for sharing this little oasis and for keeping it so natural and untouched. We loved every second of our stay and would highly recommend it—just make sure you have a self-sufficient setup since there are no facilities on-site. Can’t wait to come back!

Really cool spot with an awesome hole in the earth! Land was nice and private and the sink was really fun to climb down into. Water was nice and clear and a refreshing dip! Will definitely come back here again.

A very beautiful place indeed. I never seen anyone after I met with owner upon arrival. Very private! 🤪 I would recommend to anyone seeking solitude and privacy in an "enchanted forest" kinda way.
The path down to the water requires using the attached rope, because the rocks are steep and sharp. Be careful going down to the water. Excellent for doggies too, just would not recommend taking them down the steep rocks.
I drove in with a Dodge dually with a slide in pop up truck camper, and it was no issue. I would not want to put through the trees with a bigger Class C. Class A would not work very well at all currently.
The water was a little low and not moving too much, but I'm not a big swimmer anyways. It did not affect me at all.
Overall, a beautiful place to get away and write, relax and just get your soul together!
Anyhow, I will be going back again soon. I loved it there. 🙂

we loved camping here, the views are stunning, the swimming hole pure magic, and there was no shortage of fun things to explore both on the property and in the wider area! (bring lots of bug spray lol!) michael was a great host that showed us how to get to the tent site and was very welcoming over all. would love to stay here again!

Such a cool spot! Definitely worth the visit if you're a lover of Florida springs, it's a very unique experience. We loved having a fire down in the sink. It's so funny that this is right next to highway 27, you really never know what cool natural wonders are hidden just out of view as you drive down the road.

Went tent camping on the land it being an open field gave us lots of room to pick a spot to set up. We felt secluded which was nice and there being no light pollution the stars stood out beautifully! Stunning water and amazing cave like structure. Michael was super nice and easy to speak and get into contact with!! We saw white tailed deers and heard animals though out the evening.

Beautiful property, saw some deer at one point. Michael, the owner, stopped by at one point to welcome me, and mentioned his family had owned this property for over 170 years! You really feel like you're the only one there, the property was quite vast and expensive. Weather was great, nice moonlight every night. Fire pit was awesome as well. The sink is within a very short walking distance from the campsite. Be advised, the trek down is very steep, but definitely doable. He has a rope going all the way down, which most will need. Water was very clear and refreshing.I would definitely stay again, highly recommend. Thank you Michael for your hospitality!

Oh where to begin! Michael met us at the camp site and was extremely polite and very informative. Answered all of our questions and then left us to our own devices. The camp site is a beautiful pasture. You can hear the cows in the nearby pasture. Sounds of nature everywhere. Step into the woods and take a short walk and you will find a true Florida treasure. The sink is AMAZING! The water is sapphire blue and is clearer than you could ever imagine. The cave system (relatively short for nearby cave systems) that is associated to it is a great dive for those that are certified to do so. Walking the property there are several other geological features if you know where to look. This is a one of a kind experience that you won’t regret!

The sink itself is a dream. Highly recommend to go down there at mid day when the sun is shining into sink- whole different experience and color when the light shows off the blue. Not recommended for children. Have to be physically able to descend down a 3 foot drop. Loop rope provided to help down.
And the light reflections onto the cliff side were breathtaking! Something we’ve never experienced before. We went late May 2023- 3pm was the perfect time for visibility-
Take your pictures before getting in and mucking up the water!

We truly enjoyed our 2 nights there. Beautiful property with a private natural spring swim hole. Very peaceful & Michael was so accommodating and nice. We recommend a 34ft max on RVs visiting simply due to the entry/exit but he did say he plans on improving that. We have a 40ft. Grand Design Solitude Fifth Wheel & did not fit easily - not for the faint of heart squeezing in & out but still was well worth it!! We saw turkey in the distance and deer too. Thanks again!

This is a remarkable place to camp for a couple days. Big open field with a fire pit and very private. I to the woods is a large deep sink hole with a spring at the bottom you can swim in. This is not a state park or even a private ground. It’s private property and the owners are nice enough to share their natural phenomenon with others. We had a blast. The sky was cloudy but later that night it opened up and the stars were amazing.
