If you’re looking for a space to safely rest and relax this is your spot!
This campsite, managed by Mike and Rachel, offers a peaceful and beautifully landscaped environment, making it great for those who appreciate a quiet escape close to nature. Guests consistently praise the accommodating hosts, who are described as attentive and responsive. The location is perfect for easy access to nearby beaches and attractions, providing a balanced mix of tranquility and convenience. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, one guest experienced an issue with electricity, noting a lack of response from the hosts at the time.
The landscaping was immaculate as was the lots. They are knowledgeable and resourceful and caring. Rachel grew plants that I would consider exotic and neverbeforeseen in my book. The sky was gorgeous and the moon moves at the perfect arch over their open skies property. And they have a huge beautiful tree, to provide shade. The land is beautifully privatized and boy do they have a fireplace ready to get working! 🤣
Great Location, safe, well landscaped, and close to beaches. Mike and Rachel are helpful and laid back. Plenty of room for parking and sprawling out. Electric and water hookup worked well. Overall, it was a great experience.
We loved our stay so much that we kept extending it, by one day, then two, then three. Mike and Rachel were fantastic hosts. They were very attentive and instantly responded to any questions - it was clear that our comfort was their priority. They were also super-easy-going. The property is lovely, with lots of shade. And we enjoyed going to the beaches (Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel), since they were so close. Thank you to our hosts and we will definitely return!
A very lovely, well-kept, and quiet place; the hosts are very nice. There are plenty of attractions within cycling distance—beaches, parks, bars, shops, and more. I highly recommend this place, and I might even return someday.
We loved our stay at Mike and Rachel’s property. We were able to back into our spot with no issues (27’ trailer). We had a nice peaceful stay. It was very quiet, private, and safe, which we always seek out when camping in a somewhat busy or popular area. Close to all Ft Myers Beach area had to offer. They responded immediately to any questions we had about our stay. We would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay at their property if in the area in the future. Thank you for sharing your space for others to enjoy!
Overall it was nice, very hidden but still a nice bike ride to shopping, etc. The electric went down both nights so we had no electric thru the nights, not sure what the problem was. The first night it went back on, but the second night nothing. Sent message but never heard back.
Very nice place and ppl over all.
What a beautiful place to park! Mike and Rachel’s place was perfect for our two-night’s stay as we finished some work in the area. Restful, peaceful, lovely trees, and landscaping.
The hosts were super friendly and greeted immediately upon our arrival. They also responded immediately when we had a question. The site had it's own private little garden area that was charming. It was located close to shopping and restaurants, but was in a quiet neighborhood. The touristy things were within a comfortable drive. If you intend to back in, know that the power and water will be on the passenger side and you may need extensions depending on what your rig has as equipment.
Nice little spot tucked away in Ft. Myers. Rachel provided a restaurant recommendation that was spot on. Only regret is we didn’t get to use the full extent of the amenities offered! Next time!
Lovely quiet place in a great location close to Lovers Key State Park and Sanibel Island. Level sites with electric. I stayed in both the Sprinter site and Canopy site. Look forward to returning.
Really enjoyed this three night stay. During that time I stayed in both the Sprinter and Canopy site. Both are great sites with electric. This location is in close proximity to both Sanibel Island and Lovers Key State Park. I look forward to staying here again.
Mike and Rachel's camp was perfect for us. It was my wife and I and our dog Pearl. We had the Canopy site and it sat at the rear of the property. In total there were three couples camping at any one time but the spacing was comfortable. It was close to Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach. We would definitely stay here again. We met Rachel briefly and she was very pleasant.
Nice quiet safe place to stay. Only thing that I could think would make it a little better is that if they had larger reflective house numbers so old people could see them LOL.
Very tranquil, covered property. In a prime location- 1/2 hr to Lover’s Key and 1/2 hr to Sanibel Island. Parked in Sprinter site and Canopy site over three different nights. Both are nice. Rachel was very welcoming and greeted me every day to see if I needed anything. Spent one day at Lovers Key State park then stopped for dinner at Doc Ford’s on the way back to the site. The next day I went to Sanibel to Lighthouse beach park. Very nice parking right at the beach. Kite surfers were there and awesome to watch. Also JN Ding Darling nature preserve has a great wildlife drive that I really enjoyed the last time I was in the area. I would definitely stay at this hip camp again and look forward to it.
Great place to stay and experience some of the outside comforts of camping, while still in a sace place. The hosts were very accommodating and respected our privacy. Very clean, with running water and electricity. Would definitely recommend, the Canopy site would be the one to book if you are looking for extra space.
Perfect spot for a stop over on our way north. We loved being close to some beautiful beaches. The site was nicely maintained and the hosts were easy to communicate with.
