Amazing site! We will definitely be coming back. The amenities under the stilt house are beyond anything we expected and made the stay so much more relaxing. The salt marsh trails close by are absolutely stunning. We even had the pleasure of being awoken by a dolphin hunting a fish in the canal at 6:00am lol. Definitely recommend!

This is a wonderful place with beautiful views! I love the accessibility of the outdoor shower and restroom. It was absolutely one of my favorite stays so far.
This camp site was amazing. Tyler, the host, was awesome. Super fast at responding and very accommodating. I would recommend 100%

This place was awesome for camping even with other people there it felt very private. The outdoor shower was amazing!
My boys and I had such a great time. This was my boys ages 10 & 6 first official camping experience and I couldn't have found a better place. From the plenty of space to run around & outdoor shower, to the number of amenities the dock to fish on and the canoe to take out. We just might plan another trip. Maybe in cooler weather next time!

We had a great time! The property was nice, amenities were great, and Tyler was super helpful and responsive. It’s in a beautiful area, we even saw some manatees swim up into the creek on the property! Would highly recommend.

Absolute wonderful property. Visited here for my birthday and fully intend to return.
Great location. I felt safe. It was Quiet yet close enough to drive to restaurants and bars. Loved relaxing by the fire at night with a bottle of wine and sleeping under the stars. I'll be back!
This location was absolutely perfect and the best camping I've experienced in years. The space under the house had so many fun activities, chairs and tables and basic supplies, the bathroom was clean and fantastic and the outdoor shower had better water pressure than my house. Being able to direct launch our Kayaks from next to the ramp meant we could get on the water quickly and led to more trips than it would have and the Homosassa area had fantastic fishing and kayaking. Tyler was a very responsive host and had laid everything out so well ahead of time that the process was seamless. Can't recommend this place enough.

We went camping here with my wife and our three kids, and it was an amazing experience. The place is very peaceful perfect for disconnecting and enjoying time as a family. The views were beautiful and everything was well maintained.
We really appreciated the space between sites, which made it feel private and quiet. The directions were clear, and we had no trouble finding the location.
The best part was how much the kids enjoyed exploring and being in nature. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to families looking for a relaxing camping experience.

Tyler's River Escape was great, secluded yet 5 minutes from the marina and state park. A special bonus was the open, yet covered, "game room," complete with shower and running water. So nice to have a safe refuge when a big thunderstorm rolled through. A little cool for canoeing or swimming in mid-March, but it's available if you want.

Fun, secluded spot, we were the only campers there. If it wasn’t so cold, we would have loved to have hung out and enjoyed all the games Tyler had! The short walk to the Salt Ponds was easy and enjoyable.
Tyler’s land was amazing! Beautiful views, peace and quiet, wonderful amenities, close enough to everything we wanted to do without being in the middle of town & a 5 star host! Our 1st 2 days there were other campers on the property but there was still plenty of room to feel like there was a semblance of privacy (this is our main reason we love HipCamp- to avoid the “campground” feel. Not once did we feel like we were in their space or they ours) I was able to set up my Starlink and get a great signal for work days. The outdoor bathroom and shower were amazing touches! It was so peaceful to sit around a campfire down by the river and listen to the fish jump while we enjoyed the starry sky! Several days my husband enjoyed canoeing around while I worked.
There are nice facilities here to support a kayak/canoe fishing trip. The hot shower was really nice after a day out in the marsh, and the hose was great to be able to rinse down the gear. There was plenty of room for our tents in the grass and a couple convenient trees for a hammock near the dock. While you can put a canoe or kayak in the creek right at the camp, the Mason Creek boat ramp is only about a mile away and saves a bit of paddling to get out to the marsh. The common area under the house is really cool. We were the only ones there, so we had it to ourselves. Ceiling fans help keep the air moving and the bugs down. There is hot and cold water and electrical outlets. It was nice to have firewood there as well, and we ended up having a fire both nights (wood is a bit extra and can be purchased through HC). Highly recommend this option if you are exploring the Homosassa area and we will definitely be back.

Easily the best place I've stayed on hipcamp. A lot of space, great amenities etc. Tyler super helpful, provides a lot of info. Hidden gem 💎 will definitely be back here at some point.
I would absolutely camp here again, very quiet and the amenities are amazing. We used a canoe for birding, loved the outdoor shower and slept under the stars. I couldn't ask for a better camp spot.

Overall the space is really beautiful, the water is nice to be near, and there are plenty of amenities that make this space very comfortable.
Yet what wasn’t known or conveyed was the sheer amount of bugs that would be located near the water. At one point I looked over at my friends legs and they were covered with Noseeums, and it forced us to have to look elsewhere to stay within an hour of being there even with a fire going and bug spray.
I would consider this point deeply regarding the amount of bugs, before considering to camp or try this place out.
We really enjoyed our weekend at Tyler’s place. It’s a beautiful private campsite right by the river. We spent our time kayaking and canoeing, and the river was so quiet and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing weekend. Tyler explained everything clearly before we arrived, and we had a great time. I’ll definitely book again in the future.
Tyler's land was the perfect location for our camping adventure. Right on the river, canoes for use, wonderful accommodations such as toilet, shower, tables and games. 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely be back.

We recently stayed at the RV Site that offered everything we needed for a relaxing and fun getaway. The highlights for us were definitely the direct access to the canal, which was perfect for launching our kayaks right from the site. The site was spacious, providing ample room not only to park our camper comfortably but also to spread out and enjoy the outdoors without feeling cramped. A standout amenity was the outdoor shower, a refreshing and convenient feature after a day on the water.
Overall, a great spot that we would highly recommend!
