This is a unique 1 site RV ONLY camping spot to park your camper bay front with electric and water hookup, a newly built private dock with lighting, and a fish cleaning table.; no sewage disposal and no tent camping. For tent camping/ no utilities, search for us on Hipcamp at Bayside Ocean Front Camp in Carrabelle, FL. If you need sewage disposal, St. George Island St. Park offers this service for $10.00 or Parrish Portables out of Panama City, FL offers mobile sewage pump out for $100 for a typical size RV. The campsite is a back in only site; not pull through. Site includes area to the left of the privacy fence facing The Oyster House rental and to the tree in the picture w/ private dock; shed is not ours. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash or runner and all animal waste disposed of. The site has a solar powered light, a Weber charcoal grill, a picnic table, and a burn barrel for your use. Conveniently located in a beautiful setting that is 2 miles from Waterstreet downtown with many restaurants to choose from including waterfront dining, fresh seafood, and many unique places to shop along the waterfront. Apalachicola is a golf cart friendly town. We have a Yamaha gas powered golf cart for rent at $65 daily if you would like to enjoy a close up of the town. There are many things to do in Apalachicola such as spending the day on the beautiful white sandy beaches of St. George Island. You can book a guided fishing trip or book a trip on an airboat and tour the wetlands! Port St. Joe is a close 25-30 minute drive where you can book a sunset horseback ride right on the beach beside the ocean. There are endless places to explore in town and the surrounding areas…the lighthouse in Carrabelle as well as places to explore in Cape San Blas and Indian Pass.This site is full hook up and beautifully located at "2 mile" by the Apalachicola Bay with electricity and water, 8 foot high privacy fence that extends the length of the entire campsite for maximum privacy, as well as its own private, newly constructed 2023 fishing dock with fish cleaning table and sitting bench that has solar lighting at the dock. This site also comes with motioned controlled, solar powered lighting by the camping area to illuminate the picnic table, Coleman charcoal grill, and a fire pit for campfires. The patio area next to the camper spot is paved with brick pavers to keep things dry. The picnic table is located here. The ground is covered in oyster shells to make parking your camper and pull out easy. It is 2 miles from downtown restaurants, endless shopping, and all the festivals.

I was amazed at the easy access to parking our RV and Apalachicola town, the fire works were just wonderful in the town, we scheduled a fishing trip with Dwayne Allen Charters that was walking distance, the deck was a nice feature and the oyster shells need to make sure you wear your shoes, but it’s a nice base for parking, and especially the new cover for the picnic table and outdoor eating. The sun can be brutal in Florida, but that saved the whole trip. The place is very relaxing and we will be back.

What a beautiful camp spot. The site is exactly as described. I really enjoyed having my morning coffee out on the dock. It’s incredibly peaceful. There were rain showers every day I was there so I was grateful for the wooden canopy with the tin roof. I just relaxed in my hammock until it passed and the sun came out again. It’s conveniently located close to downtown. There’s some road noise from the highway but it dies down at night. I would definitely recommend this beautiful spot. My pup and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Camping with a pvt dock and view!

Perfect little spot to pull through and camp for the night. The dock area was a treat at sunset/sunrise — peaceful and private. I’d imagine a great location for avid fishermen too. Location is perfect for checking out Apalachicola downtown and St George’s Island. Easy to find and clear instructions. Thanks again!

Great location, great sunsets!

Great proximity to Apalachicola and amazing views and sunset from the private dock. The site has good privacy on both sides. The power and water are on the “wrong side” for a back in site. It’s not a far distance but be sure to have a longer water hose and power cord. There is a long hose provided but it isn’t a drinking water hose. The road noise isn’t bad and the area felt safe. There is also a sidewalk within a half a block that goes all the way into town. Also, the side streets off the main road are all very low traffic and walkable (in my case, dog walking). Amanda is very responsive and wants you to have a great experience.

This was a great spot, really close to Apalachicola and St George Island. The dock and bay were absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed fishing and catching crabs off the dock. The site was nice and level and the utilities worked well. There is also a covered patio area that came in handy for the rain/sun. We'd definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic time at Amanda’s spot with a dock. Lots of wide life in the area too. Saw dolphins, caught all kinds of fish and watched the resident eagle. Even got to see the Space Station pass over one clear night! Highly recommend and will be back. Close bike ride to downtown Apalachicola too!
