Got a 30 amp spot on the ridge overlooking lakes, beautiful spot. Joe and his wife are good people, don't hesitate. Views are amazing, and the best water in the southwest.

Joe is so nice! He met us at the entrance, drove us to where the water fill up is and then drove us to our amazing spot! There are no showers or bathrooms but he does have a septic for dumping and water for filling!

Probably the nicest people I’ve ever met, on heavenly country! They make sure you feel right at home. The property is so beautiful you won’t want to leave! Close to town but far enough to have peace and serenity. Will recommend this place to everyone that will listen.

Fantastic stay, especially if you’re looking to visit the neighboring state park or just want an easy time away. Electric was available and we filled up with some clear, fantastic, cold water. Amandine hosts, great stories… we felt like family. Will definitely be back!!

We had a great time and Joe is an excellent host. The land is beautiful and was a great home base to explore the area. Town was close by as well as a view of Lathrop State Park and lakes.

My husband and I stayed a weekend here in our 25' travel trailer and we loved it! Our spot was on a ridge overlooking the lakes in Lathrop State Park, along with a spectacular view of the Spanish Peaks. Our spot had electric hookups and there was water available to fill our tank but we didn't need it. There was only one other camper near us and they were fairly close, but the way the sites were positioned, it still felt private. There was no picnic table or fire pit (burn bans in place so couldn't have used it anyway). We didn't miss them but probably something for others to be aware of. The property is 160 acres and the hosts encouraged us to explore their beautiful land, which we did. Our dog Polly heartily approved!
Speaking of the hosts, you couldn't ask for more gracious, friendly people than Joe and his wife Susan (I believe that was her name...apologies if I got it wrong). They both welcomed us with warmth and kindness. Joe even lent a hand as we were setting up. If that wasn't enough, they came by that evening and delivered delicious homemade enchiladas and banana bread. They have such an interesting story about how they found the land and the plans they have for it. We very much appreciated their hospitality and their generosity in sharing this very magical place with us.

The views are amazing from every angle. And Joe was very responsive. Had a nice night with Noone around. The site was only dirt, but think that's because of the overall terrain. Both sunset and sunrise were spectacular. Would certainly return.
