We arrived at Camp Indigo in mid-afternoon. We checked each RV to see if we could fine anyone -- we could not. There was no note. I was able to text, so I found Chelsea's number and texted her. She replied that she wasn't there and a friend should be around. She offered the use of her shovel.
We saw a cleared (no weeds) area with a fire ring, so we setup camp there. The first RV in this area has a large water receptacle, with a bucket underneath. It was mostly empty, so we only used it to wash our dishes.
We setup camp and cooked dinner (fuel stove). We ate at the table by the first RV. We went to bed early. There is a good view of the night sky without light pollution.
I awoke to the sounds of many barking dogs. I could not sleep. Around midnight a car drove by our tent. I began to hear chopping sounds. At some point, we smelled a fire. We never met anyone. We cleaned-up our site and left.

It has beautiful rolling hills and amazing little plants!
The stars at night are simply amazing!
If you need to catch your breath from the rush of life Chelsea’s camp indigo is the perfect place! Very relaxing and soul recharging! I’d definitely stay there again!

The views are lovely! I enjoyed camping here. Trust the directions given by host. GPS isn't fully correct, but host was right on. I will stay here, again. Save a screenshot of site map host sends you, it will help you to find your camping spot, as they are not marked with numbers or signs. I loved this site so much! It was beautiful, quiet, and I could see hummingbirds. :)

Beautiful, wide open space with view of rolling hills and mountains. Can be a bit windy in the open, so be prepared. Spent 3 days there and very much enjoyed the nice peace and quiet. Will definitely be back.

The directions you have helped so much! The site's vegetation is beautiful and had amazing views. It is July and the temps at night get nice and cold. I had a cute rain storm while there. The rain falling over the hills and mountains in the distance was a sight to see. I love your land! Thank you Chelsea

Great location. Easy to get into with pop up and toy hauler. Camp hosts were there when we arrived. They told us to park anywhere within the white post boundary and if we wanted a fire by our campers we could build our own. A couple people showed up and we told them what the hosts said because they were confused on where to go. Fished at Spinney res. Both Spinney and 11 mile are no body or animal contact and fly only fishing. We hiked and the boys rode there dirt bikes around the area. I would hate to see the beautiful flowers and plants ruined by traffic so maybe designating spots on the land line in the map would be a good thing. We would go back and recommend it!

Directions were clear and it was easy to get there via dirt road off the main paved road. We had a pop up and friends had a toy hauler and we got to camp just fine. There isn't any marked spots, as the map suggests. We were told to find the spot we want inside the designated area (marked with white poles). We were told we could make our own fire pits with rocks found around the area. There were no pits on the property when we arrived but 3 were made in the camp by the time we left. We only saw the host once the entire long weekend. It was fine for us but others were confused when they got there and we were happy to give them the info we were told by the hosts. We hiked, went to the nearby reservoirs, Spinney and 11 mile (no body/animal contact and fly only fishing!!), boys rode their dirt bikes, and we visited Hartsel (coffee shop, restaurant/bar and mercantile). Hot springs were a bit far (a little over an hour to mnt princton) so we didn't do that. Overall, it is a great spot. I hope they make designated areas like the map suggests, to help with confusion and to help save the beautiful flowers and sagebrush from heavy traffic.

Absolutely beautiful, wide open space with views of the mountains. Many hills, trees, and wildlife that help fuel the beauty of this camp. The host, Chelsea, was very kind and welcoming, as well as quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Amazing view of the Mountains . If you love riding your mountain bike or hiking, this place offers a lot of options . Right off the Great Divide Mountain Bike Trail . Get ready to see a sky full of stars and beautiful sunrise and sunset .

absolutely incredible. we had no idea the drive there was going to be as beautiful as it was. easy to find and easy enough to get back without a GPS. we really got lucky finding this place.. it was so wholesome.

We had a wonderful experience staying here! The camp grounds were clean and spacious. The views of the surrounding mountains were incredible! Chelsea and her partner were very gracious and accommodating. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wesley and Chelsea were amazing hosts! They made us feel so welcomed. It was beautiful site to stay at. Really clean and we enjoyed our 4 day stay. We will definitely stay there again.

This site is exacy what you want when you want to see "Colorado." Most people figure out they cant see the mountains for the tree's, when they camp in typical colorado campsites. When you stay at Chelsea B's Land you definitely get to see Colorados mountains as well as experience the high desert. The valley is beautiful, the landscape views are gorgeous, and the sky at night, unbelievable. Be on the lookout for Hedgehog Cactus AKA Echinocereus viridiflorus (I think) which are easy to miss, and the harder to miss, indian paintbrush, which scatter the property while feeding the hummingbirds. The campground is centrally located between Como roundhouse (Boreas Pass), Fairplay, 11 mile state park, Spinny Mtn. Res. Antero Res. And so many great recreation areas. The site hosts are very nice and helpful, genuinely concerned about your stay. Thank you for a great couple of nights away from the chaos of city life. We will definitely be back. Scott and Bogan.

I had a great stay with my dog on Chelsea’s land. It was super easy to find a flat spot and settle in in my campervan. We got some beautiful rainbows and it was perfectly cool at night for sleeping cuddled under the covers. I explored the nearby 11 mile reservoir and Spinney mountain reservoir

It is a beautiful location, and Chelsea and her husband were awesome. They were really helpful in getting settled and very friendly. They have a large property where you can spread out and have your own space. The only downside is there is no shade or trees, so if you plan to hang out on the property all day be sure to bring something for shade. Otherwise we had a great time and I highly recommend!

Nice quiet spot close to fishing. Had no trouble finding flat gound for my trailer. There is a lot of space 5 acres I believe to park your truck and trailer. You dont feel confined to a small space like at state park camp ground. Also, I was able to run my generator when I needed to without restriction. It was nice and cool at night in July so I never ran it at night.
