Very confusing campsite after dark. No marked tent sites and nobody there for check in. We were told on the website there would be a fire pit (where)? But a nice surprise was the showers in the bathroom. Also a gorgeous view with a nearby hike.

The site was gorgeous, with plenty to do nearby, but what really stood out to me was the camp hosts. I was struggling with my equipment and the hosts helped me get everything set up for a comfortable stay. It brought good stay to a great stay and I was so grateful! Surrounded by views more gorgeous than I ever could have imagined, it was nice to have people equally fantastic!

We camped with Bristol last week & had a fabulous time! The mountains were stunning, the staff were helpful & friendly, it was everything we needed to get away for a bit! Creed & Lake City are great places to explore! We would definitely stay here again!!!

Dale was super cool and gave us advice on local sites. We stayed in our truck camper at one of the tent sites in the back. The view was great and overall a very nice experience. I’ll probably stay here again if I’m in the area.

Our stay at Bristol Mountain/Broken Arrow Ranch was wonderful! We stayed in our 27ft fifth wheel and it was perfect. Plenty of room in our spot. The views were probably my favorite part of staying here. The property was clean, nice and very quiet. The location is great close to a few great hikes and scenery. It was close to Creede you could be to town in about 15 minutes which was perfect. I loved the phone booth lol. We had 2 dogs with us and it was fine for them! I would definitely recommend staying here. I have no doubt we will be back.

I absolutely love this spot and would definitely stay here again. Dale is a fantastic host and gave me lots of recommendations for things to do in town. He made me feel welcome, and I honestly did not want to leave by the end of the week. What a gorgeous place. I am looking forward to staying here again.

Fantastic location & views. Loved that our dogs could explore by our sides unrestricted. We meet the host & his caretakers a few hours after we arrived. They were friendly & helpful. Looking forward to visiting again.

Camping in a sprawling field of wildflowers with amazing mountain views, in a very quiet location but just a few miles from town- this place is ideal for pup-up and rooftop tents (like mine) but also pitched tents- with clean restrooms and showers just a short walk away. The hosts were amazing and went out of their way to help with a small issue. What a gem.

We loved tent camping on Dale’s property. Nice to have access to shared bathroom and shower. Great views from the campsite. There was a fire pit for us to use. Location was great to access area hiking and go into town. Only minor negative is that the creek has dried up in 2024. Not the owners fault as it’s an upstream reservoir issue but did want to point it out as we were looking forward to hanging near a creek. As others have mentioned it is in a sunny field so we brought a shade tent which worked great.

This was a fantastic tent camping experience! The sites are open choice and the area is gated and secure. There are firepits and bathrooms, showers, with hot water! Lots of nice little perks like soap in the showers, stocked bathroom with TP, clean facilities, firewood available, and no fuss check in/out! The views are amazing but there’s no shade, so definitely bring some with you. There was an existing structure that we were able to hang a tarp from that was extremely helpful for creating shade in a jam.

Very beautiful land and the host is very easy going. We got there later in the evening because we were traveling far from out of state and he was very understanding. His horses were out for the first two days but were very friendly and I unbothered by our dogs barking at them. There were showers and toilets by the front of the ranch that you could both walk or drive to.

The tent site here was absolutely beautiful. The views were second to none, the host was amazing, accommodating, and informative of activities, locations, and directions. 10/10, will camp here again.

Nobody was around when we showed up, and we didn't have cell service to contact the site host. After reading the rules we found out campfires were prohibited, and between that and the pictures not matching the website we decided to find accommodations elsewhere. We will be pursuing a refund now that we are back home.

Dale was the most gracious we have probably ever encountered. We got lost on our way to the campground and took Sewage Creek Rd.instead of Sewage Rd. which is right off the main road. Nevertheless he came and rescued us and found us and took us back to the correct campground. Then on top of all that he supplied us with dinner to cook at our campground because the stores in Creede were already closed. Thanks again to Dale and his wife for their amazing kindness and hospitality! Highly recommended A+++++

Broken Arrow Ranch is close to everything - from Creede to any outdoor pursuit. Plus a view to die for! Friendly and helpful hosts with a bath house on property. Absolutely the best place to spend our Memorial Day weekend - actual privacy with no other campers staying right up against you. We will be back!

The camping was just what we were looking for...affordable, private, peaceful and beautiful...with showers and bathrooms available within walking distance. A little brook flows right where we pitched our groups tents. There are no specific sites, but thanks to the owners advice when we got there, he pointed us to the most obvious place to pitch our groups 3 tents. I did not investigate the wider area to see other good tent spots. We were in the area to hike San Luis Peak, this is exactly what we needed....We stayed 2 nights, good stuff !

Broken Arrow Ranch is the perfect place to camp; the pasture is spacious with gorgeous views all around. The babbling brook was so delightful I lost track of how many hours I spent sitting at its edge. The campers are in the most secluded part of the property away from RVs and cabins, so it's very quiet. The staggering mountain showed so many different faces in the brilliant sunshine and bright blue skies, framed by puffy white clouds, illuminated by the rosy sunset, and shrouded in rain clouds. This was a brief visit on my way through Colorado, but I made time to stop at the North Clear Creek Falls. Just like the property, they were even better than the pictures. My only regret was having to bid Creede goodbye. I can't wait to visit again!

Simple camping spot in a field next to a small brook. It was very windy and dry so my tent got a lot of dust in it.
The views are spectacular with mountains all around.
There is a bathroom with shower about 150 yards from the camping area.
It's a great place to stay if you're fishing the Rio Grande. Many miles of the river are within a very reasonable drive. It's about a 15 minute drive from Creede.

Beautiful location and felt very private as there was only one other tent camper while we were there and there is a lot of space to spread out. It was a great jumping point for us to explore Creede.

Greeted by a friendly pooch upon entering (who literally guided us to the campsite) We were speechless upon entering the campsite grounds...the view is absolutely unbeatable, nestled between peaks and rolling mountains. Very good amount of room to set up camp away from others. Owners provided detailed info on what to expect, and made sure we were aware of Red Flag warning before arriving so we didn't accidentally start a forest fire. Campsites are right next to the creek which made for fantastic sleeping soundtrack. Both my friend and I said we would stay here for weeks on end if given the opportunity.
