Burl was a great host! He responded when we were pulling in late just to get some rest for the night. He went out of his way to make sure we had access to water. Very peaceful and a flat surface to park. Great spot!

So thankful to find a place to camp last minute for 4th of July and close enough to Bass Lake, Yosemite, Dinky Creek. We were able to hit all the spots we wanted. The views are really nice, the area was free from other campers so we didn't feel we had to walk on eggshells. Burl responded right away to any questions. Thanks so much for the use of your property!

Such a great spot! We came in late in the dark and had no issues finding the site. The lights on the driveway were really helpful! Burl is responsive and great for directions. Perfect site for our car tent on the way to Yosemite.

I ended up not staying. It was not just a construction site, but a logging operation. All dirt, very dusty and rough. I think there were walk-in gray places to set up a tent, but I was sleeping in my car. There was not an appropriate or pleasant place for that.

It was the perfect place to just stop for a quick two day trip! Burl was also very clear about the instructions and was willing to help us with any questions we had before getting there!

Great little spot! This is like rural camping, but we were able to find a fairly level spot and really only showed up to sleep! 45 minutes from the Yosemite Mariposa entrance, with gas stations, coffee shops and breakfast places along the route!

It’s an open construction site, with no real camp sites. Gravel and dirt were plentiful . Only one there and never saw our host.
One night was enough of the experience.
The photos really don’t do it justice.

Definitely steer clear of this campsite. It’s is pretty much at the bottom of an abandoned construction site with junk, glass, and truck and tractor parts scattered everywhere. Description was not representative of campsite and would not recommend.

Host was very communicative! Perfect spot for a quick camping trip. I went right in the middle of heat wave so unfortunately was not able to enjoy it for the evening but any other time of the year it would have been perfect.

We actually never ended up staying here bc we last minute decided to just drove through the night and head to Yosemite. But Burl was super helpful and responsive. He gave me all sorts of great tips about Yosemite and was very friendly and available. He was a great contact to have and even checked on us in the morning to make sure we were all good since he hadn’t seen us drive in.

The space is exactly what we needed for a quick night after the day at Yosemite. We made the mistake of getting there later than anticipated but Burl was there to help guide us on the best possible area dependent on our needs. He was great at communication even before arriving. We’d definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Tent camping here was the best decision ever. Very primitive camp style (how camp should be). Was close to Oakhurst, where they have plenty of food options. T-mobile and Verizon is spotty at the lower campsites. Burl the host is easy going, very attentive and responds quick to any questions. Directions are straight foward after clarified by Burl. Overall great experience can't wait to return.

This space was all I needed and what I was looking for at the perfect price. Just a safe space to park for the night- self sufficient camping. The land is being worked on, so at its furthest most point is where I found 2 open lots. There were two deer that seemed pretty comfy laying in/near his shed, and there is a nice view of the mountain range. Burl was very commutative before and during the stay, and made sure I had access to water if I needed it. Less than 5 minutes away is a beautiful little lake park that has bathrooms and picnic tables. Thank you Burl!

Had the site to ourselves. Burl was very helpful finding us a flat spot. Had a lovely fire which helped keep the mosquitos away. No toilet.

The space was exactly as described and the sunsets were gorgeous. I especially appreciated the alternate route provided so that we did not have any issues with our larger 5th wheel of getting in or out, and where to turn around. Burl was attentive throughout our stay and our experience was enjoyable.

Burl was an excellent host. I arrived at 10pm called Burl for help finding the site. He sent clear texts with instruction, answered the phone right away. This was a great spot to wrap up a day of driving before heading to the mountains. Thanks Burl!

Easy to access - directions and combined with map coordinates were spot on. Burl was an incredibly thoughtful host, providing helpful info on places to stop nearby and recommendations for breakfast. He went above and beyond, knowing we were arriving late at night, to make sure that the entrance and amenities were easily visible. The view was beautiful, with sunrise over the mountains, and it was quiet and dark, making sleep very easy. I would highly recommend!!
