Welcome, HipCampers! We’re so grateful to share our peaceful Joshua Tree retreat with you — a quiet desert sanctuary for those seeking rest, stillness, and dark skies. Nestled just minutes from the main street of Joshua Tree and a short drive from the park entrance, our land offers the best of both worlds: tranquil night skies (with minimal light pollution thanks to our location beyond the hills) and the convenience of nearby shops, cafés, and local charm. Whether you’re pitching a tent, parking your van, or gathering with friends, this space is designed to help you slow down and savor the beauty of the desert. Please bring all your camping essentials and help us honor the land by leaving it just as pristine as you found it. There are NO on-site UTILITIES, NO TOILET or SHOWER (please bring your own) — but you’ll still enjoy reliable cell service, peaceful surroundings, and endless stargazing. If you need anything during your stay, don’t hesitate to reach out — I’m always happy to help. May your time here be filled with calm mornings, golden sunsets, and star-filled nights. 🌙Feel free to maneuver through the shrubs and find a cozy spot. There is a clearing for a tent right beside the Joshua Tree and Firepit. There are no-utilities/hook ups on the property (water/septic/electricity) Whatever you pack in, take out with you. Including dog poop, please and thank you. The entire 2.5acre property is fairly open with fencing around the North/East/South perimeter. Path access is off the dirt road.

Under The Joshua Tree
This site is simple yet beautiful. Its perfect for a bare essentials trip with a gorgeous backdrop and wide open privacy. It was perfectly clean, the neighborhood went silent right at 9 pm, and I slept undisturbed all night. Jodee is incredibly kind and accomodating. Just make sure you read the ad all the way through for site access! I didn't and got caught up, but I was still able to get my sedan up to the site with some careful determination. :) I hope to be back soon
