Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Great site for star gazing and enjoying the night skies. Please be sure to carry plenty of water and avoid the sun during the day time. I recommend visiting the campsite during sunrise or sunset. Be sure to also fuel up before arriving. It’s not recommended using tents and be sure to stay hydrated. Some of the things you can do here. Exploring the Desert and Joshua Tree National Park: Hiking and rock climbing: Twentynine Palms is near the eastern entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, renowned for its hiking and rock climbing opportunities. Guests are near the park and can easily access these activities. Off-roading: Some Hipcamp properties offer access to off-roading trails in the desert. Guests at Vanishing Rock Ranch, for example, can explore the desert terrain on side-by-sides or dirt bikes. Stargazing: The clear desert skies provide excellent opportunities for stargazing. Some locations even offer telescopes for guests to use. Wildlife sightings: Guests can enjoy seeing desert wildlife like rabbits, coyotes, and birds. Visiting nearby attractions: Guests can easily visit attractions like the Sky's the Limit Observatory, Pappy and Harriet's, or the Integratron.Site is located just outside of 29 Palms, 10 acres of breathtaking desert views, where you can experience the desert landscape and the mountains. Gas station is 8 min away and other amenities are available in town. Property is soft sand terrain and is best to stay close to the road in front of the property (2 Mile Rd) to avoid getting stuck, recommended to use an All wheel drive vehicle or 4x4. There is a picnic table enjoy a meal and some chairs to sit down and relax enjoy the sunset and night skies. The main roads to get there are Amboy Rd then turn on Bullion Rd and the second main road to get there is 29 Palms HWY and turn on Bullion Rd. Be sure to take a lot of water and stay hydrated.

Quiet Camping Get Away 10 Acres

Site was great. Stargazing was top-tier and the mountains in the distance are a great site to see. Not to far from the Joshua tree entrance. Seats, table, and campfire are great!
