Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
Nestled among beautiful 200 foot tall redwoods and Douglas fur is Yurtville, a peaceful, private, wind protected property containing a Yurt, a new Cabin, and a 26 ft. Shipping Container home. Perfect for families with/without kids, small retreats, music/writer retreats, or anyone who wants a break from society, to find peace of mind, or create new memories with friends. There is a separate building, a yellow 10 foot shipping container for the bathroom which contains a flushing toilet,sink, hot shower, and laundry. There is a small stage for karaoke /musical activities, or to perfect your stand-up act. If for whatever reason you prefer to sleep in a tent, there are many flat places you can pitch your tent. One of the flat spots on the hill has a separate electric outlet. The stage can also double as a wonderful off the ground camping platform. Outdoor small movie screen and projector. There are two areas for a campfire that are off the ground. Kindling and some firewood available.Hose and water nearby for safety. AMENITIES: WI FI- all three buildings have WiFi and Roku enabled televisions. KITCHEN-SHIPPING CONTAINER contains induction stove, mini fridge, sink, microwave, electric tea kettle, paper plates and some regular plates, silverware, cooking utensils, cups, French coffee press, olive oil, veggie oil, salt, pepper, drinking water. Usually there’s some tea as well. Any food you find in the container is welcome to be eaten:) the only real rule i try to follow religiously is not leaving any food around or on the ground for bears or critters:) Thank you ! :)Garbage/recycle bin provided:) KITCHEN NEW CABIN-, there is an induction stove, a mini fridge, an electric tea kettle, French coffee Press, olive oil/veggie oil, paper/regular plates, cups, silverware. KITCHEN YURT- the yurt does not have a kitchen but there is an electric tea kettle, and drinking water.(but it has a miniature dragons lair arcade game to make up for it. BATHROOM-hot water, hot shower, laundry and dryer, flushing toilet. Lots of places to relax. Nicene Marks State Park mt. biking and hiking a short ride away. Upon request there are two low power BB guns for tin can target practice. Badminton net and rackets, lawn darts,frisbee's,board games,etcRental includes all 3 structures-yurt, cabin , and container home. A wind protected magic nook in the hills of Aptos California.
