Sunset View River Getaway Fallbrook
Neat little overnight adventure with the kids. It’s in a cool rural area of orchards and horses but not really way out in nature. More like glorified/extreme backyard camping 100 yards from the house and avocado orchards with a little garage/shed and some old cars near it. Which was great for water and electricity. They even let me charge my car, which was awesome. There are fun riverside trails nearby that do make you feel ‘outside’. There are even spots in the river to wade in with kids. Hosts were great. They came to meet us in arrival and were very accommodating. The put out an easy-up with misters on it for us bc it was a hot day.

Great mtn views, stars, and shaded area to enjoy it all.
Very nice host. Even loaned us some gear when ours broke.
The lakes are close, beaches, etc. Nice hiking nearby as well. Overall, very nice trip.

Josh and his wife were super kind and helpful. While the area we camped in was well maintained, we were under the impression, based on the photos, that the location of the camp site was still somewhat secluded. it was definitely closer to the residential areas than we anticipated. If your looking for a clean and safe place to stay with amenities easy to access, it's a go to. All in all we had a nice night.

Very friendly, welcoming, and responsive hosts! The property and views are incredible. Great trails nearby. Highly recommend watching golden hour from here.

Sunset View River Getaway Fallbrook
Josh's place is amazing! We were greeted by his wonderful family upon arrival and the spot for our Sprinter was perfect. No one else around and it was private and peaceful. We took advantage of the beautiful Santa Margarita River nearby for mountain biking and the town of Fallbrook was only 15 min. away. The views are spectacular and they left us a fantastic basket of fruit, avocadoes and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. We will definitely be back.

We loved staying here. The sunset view was amazing. Josh and Heather were great hosts. They showed us the property and had a table chairs ready for us to use. In the morning they gave us some freshly squeezed orange juice.
