Eight minute walk to the beach! Pet friendly! Welcome to southern Santa Cruz County, home of some of the longest and most beautiful beaches in central California. Enjoy the peaceful view of 300 acres of strawberry fields across the valley. We are located in La Selva Beach, an eight-minute walk to Manresa State Beach. We are a small, working farm with vegetable and flower gardens, chickens and bees. There are many excellent places nearby to hike, walk, surf, swim, tide pool, kayak or just sit and enjoy the view. Our campsites include water and electric hookups, and are most appropriate for self-contained recreational vehicles and trailers. We have plenty of room for a second vehicle. We do offer a port-a potty and sinks, but we do not shower facilities. Cell service is very good. Are you interested in renting a self contained camping unit? Want to spend a few days near the beach with a great view of the strawberry fields in your own little cozy retreat? We’ve got just the partner for you. Our partner lists on Outdoorsy and will deliver and set up a 26 foot Airstream trailer that sleeps 6. The unit is fully remodeled, super clean, with water and power hook ups and additional amenities as needed. Please let us know if interested and we will provide contact info for booking. Our property is a great base camp for your Santa Cruz and Monterey County adventures! We are 15 minutes from Capitola Village, 30 minutes to downtown Santa Cruz and 45 minutes to Monterey. We love to host guests and will provide information about things to do and see in our area. We often loan our State Parks pass so that you can venture out to Point Lobos, Wilder Ranch, Sunset Beach, Natural Bridges and more. There is a Dump station 5 minutes down the road at the KOA (for a fee).

Guests love this site! "What a great spot with amazing views. Quiet and close to the water!!" (Paul N.) This site has lovely views of the strawberry fields across the valley. The site is a mostly flat gravel pad and has a picnic table, fire pit and firewood. Gorgeous views! Very quiet spot. Short walk to a beautiful beach that goes for miles. This is a back in or pull site for self-contained units only. There is plenty of room for a second vehicle. This site accommodates motorhomes, trailers, travel vans, pop up campers up to 25 feet. Tent camping is allowed. There is plenty of room to back in or pull in, turn around etc.. We do offer a very clean porta-potty and sink. There are no showers. There is a dump station down the road at the KOA (for fee). This site has a water hook up and an 20 amp power hook up. We have a loaner adaptor if needed. We offer an unlimited supply of complimentary firewood and fire pit. Campfires are subject to local fire conditions. We have two campsites on the property. Hosts live on the property. There are only a handful of RV accommodating campgrounds in Santa Cruz that are less than a ten-minute walk to the beach. This is a very peaceful place, and we look forward to sharing it with you! Pets are allowed on leash at all times. Early check-in and late check out available at no charge - please inquire though.

Please note that there will be day time road noise. It is generally quiet at night. This site is best if you are looking for a short stay. Our property is an eight-minute walk to Manresa State Beach. This is a flat site on gravel / hardscape and is close to the road. There are water and power hookups. A fire pit and firewood are provided. There is plenty for room for two or more vehicles. RV’s of any length can be accommodated. Good cell service, dump station down the road at the KOA for a fee. PLEASE NOTE: There are no showers! The porta potty is a convenient distance away. There is a sink for hand washing, but no shower facility. There will be day time noise from the street, but the evenings are generally quiet.

This site can accommodate RV’s, camper vans, pop up campers, tent over trucks, Class A, B, C etc. up to 30 feet, Pull in or back in. There is plenty of room for an additional vehicle. There are water and 20 amp power hook ups at the site. A power adaptor is available to borrow. A picnic table and fire pit are provided. This site is quiet and has a lovely view of the strawberry fields across the valley where the sunset is often reflected. The beach is an easy eight minute walk from our property. Cell service is good here. Pets are allowed on leash. Free firewood is provided as well as a fire pit. Fires allowed as per local fire permissions. There is a well serviced porta potty on site and sinks. There are no shower facilities. There is a dump station down the road at the KOA for a fee. There a multiple state beaches and parks nearby, we are happy to make recommendations regarding things to do, places to go, restaurants etc.

What a wonderful experience!! Beautiful and quiet piece of property today at. We were welcomed with open arms with fresh eggs and Girl Scout cookies, hat better way to say hello!? Close to the beach with beautiful views of the strawberry fields. Will definitely visit again.

Robin was great, we ended up leaving a day early because we were missing our daughter and got our fill of travel, and she kindly refunded our last day without us even asking! the beach just a minute down the road is absolutely amazing, large sandy beach with a spectacular sunset, I would definitely come again!

Amazing stay! Ray and Robin were so lovely, accommodating, and even dropped off some eggs & cookies — what a treat! If you’re around Santa Cruz or driving up/down the coast, make sure to get a little respite on Robin’s land — perfect to go catch some waves and listen to them crashing at night by the fire :)

This was such an amazing stay! Robin and Ray were so accommodating and friendly. The location in proximity to the beach is absolutely awesome!! We had a fire all night long with wood provided by them. We will definitely be coming back again :)

What a love couple! This place is safe and quiet, and has amenities that lots of other camps don't offer. The hosts are lovely people and even gave me eggs when I arrived and cookies when I left. I'd be happy to come back again.

What a wonderful stay at the Valley View near La Selva Beach. The location is perfect—quiet, scenic, and just a short walk to the coast, making it an ideal base for beach days and exploring the area. The hosts, Robin and Ray, were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful; the fresh eggs they provided were such a special touch, as well as the abundance amount of fire wood. Another perk is the surf rental shop right on the property. As a solo female traveler, I felt genuinely cared for and comfortable here. The hosts were very intentional and attentive when needed, while also being respectful of privacy, which made the stay feel both safe and relaxing. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a relaxing coastal getaway with the needed amenities and warm hospitality. I’d absolutely stay here again.

These were the most incredible hosts! They were there immediately when we showed up, gave us tips on what to do in the area, offered us free firewood and helped us shelter from the rain in our little teardrop. Very beautiful spot and very classy hosts!

I loved seeing the strawberry fields in the distance and the walk to the beach was quick and easy. Our host was friendly and helpful. They provided all the necessary luxuries of camping (water and electrical hookup, porta potty, sink, soap, chairs, table and bench, fire pit with all the wood we could use. I highly recommend staying here. I will definitely return.

We had a fantastic time staying at Robin and Rays property. They were both very personable and gracious hosts. Robins farm fresh eggs were delicious too. The property was well kept and the porta potty was very clean. The location was very close to two very beautiful beaches as well. We intend to stay again when we are back down in that area. Solo traveler. I loved parking my class B RV here with a beautiful view of the Strawberry fields. Manresa State Beach parking lot only 1/2 mile away. A beautiful beach and surf spot with wide, sandy shores. Walk for miles! Hosts were very welcoming, helpful and kind. I felt safe there!

What an amazing place!! Super clean, great views of the strawberry fields, clean Porto potty to use (was serviced day before we arrived), and the hosts were super friendly. Robin made us cookies and gave us fresh eggs from their chickens. Lots of privacy between the 3 camp sites available. Couldn’t have been happier! The beach is only an 8 min walk away and what a phenomenal beach. Dog friendly and super quiet, perfect spot to go surfing and/or watch the surfers. Soft sand and people are friendly. Would definitely recommend to a friend and will be back soon.

My husband and I were trying out a camper van rental and driving down the coast. This spot is fantastic - it has everything you would have at a typical campground - except the crowds! It’s quiet and peaceful with pretty views of strawberry fields and Ray and Robin are lovely hosts; they gave us fresh eggs! As others have said there is a beautiful beach about an 8 min walk away that is dog friendly. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice peaceful spot. Lots of distance from the other campsite, and a lovely view of the strawberries. There’s a little road noise in the site closer to the road, but it’s only occasional, and not too loud – all the trees help with that. And the location was very convenient for a visit to Aptos. Would come back.

My husband and I had such an amazing weekend! Robin welcomed us with freshly baked cookies and eggs from her ‘girls’. Robin and Ray are great hosts and have thought of everything for the campsite. It’s well-appointed with water, and electrical hookups, a sink, garbage cans and recycling, a fire pit, chairs and a picnic table. The sites are very spacious with lovely field views and the beach is less than an 8 minute walk. We can’t wait to return!

The host is very welcoming. We were met on arrival and they checked in with us during our stay. This is our third stay. The Valley View sites are comfortable with easy access. We had all three for a week-long family vacation. Highlights while we were there: - Fresh eggs! - Monterey - Carmel - Portola-Crespi Cross - Santa Cruz -Moss Landing - The Beach is a ten-minute walk - Hiking, biking, parasailing and kayaking

What a diamond! Beautiful view from the campsite of the fields. Minutes to walk to the beach! Robin come out to greet us when we arrived with fresh eggs. Our friends came out with their trailer the next day and were able to camp right next to us. Robin baked homemade oatmeal cookies that afternoon. They were gone in 5 minutes! A truly great experience! Exceptional hosts! Can’t wait to go back!
