Mold problems and hidden fees
We were excited to stay here, but our experience ended up being a bit disappointing. The cabin had a really strong musky, almost mildewy smell, and it stayed pretty damp inside even with the windows open. By morning, everything — bedding, clothes, even the floor — felt a little wet. We also noticed some mold in the fridge and on a few utensils, which made it feel less clean than expected.
The pricing also felt pretty steep for what we got. Our one-night stay came out to almost $400, with $35 charged per bed for bedding, a $20 processing fee just to add bedding, plus a $30 guest fee and $60 cleaning fee. It’s a cute space, but paying extra for basic bedding (per bed!) on top of everything else felt unreasonable, especially since the tiny house is set up right in someone’s backyard.
We really like the idea of the place and think it could be great with some better ventilation, a deep clean, and clearer pricing upfront
