River's Bend Retreat is close to redwood forests, Anderson Valley wine country, and the Mendocino Coast. . You'll love our place because of the coziness, natural setting, beautiful light of the meadow and shadowy forest, peacefulness, friendly locals. This is a great destination for individuals on personal retreat, couples, creatives who want time to write or draw, and families

Camping w/ access to Navarro River

Tent site · Sleeps 2
The campground meadow includes potable water, sinks, well-maintained outhouses, and hot water showers. There are no designated campsites but plenty of options under trees or open meadow. To support a natural setting, it is NOT possible to drive to your campsite. Camping locations are an easy 2-5 minute walk from the parking space in the campground area. If that space is filled (there are only 3 spaces), then you can unload your vehicle and then drive it back the 2 minute drive to the main River's Bend Parking lot. Each site is not equipped with a fire pit or grill as you might find in formal parks, however, you can bring your own small propane or other gas camp stove and place it on one of our campground picnic tables near your spot. Depending on weather and other conditions, there is one campfire pit in the meadow that may be used with pre-arrangement with Host before July 1 and after October. Campers must bring lockable food storage or keep food in their cars. There is no electricity or plug-ins in the campground area. Solar lamps are near the outhouses. Bring your flashlights and unplug from devices to enjoy the stars!! We limit the number of individual campers, so this space will not be inundated with people.
