River's Bend was the perfect camping spot for me and my two small children (4 and 6), and we had a wonderful stay. We had the campground to ourselves, and enjoyed how clean the area was, and certainly enjoyed access to a hot shower.
The river trail and beach was a highlight, and the boys really loved catching toads and lizards, and skipping rocks. It was quiet and peaceful, and an overall relaxing stay. Lori was super friendly, and the facility is pretty well kept. No issues with critters or anything.
Our only hangup was that we couldn't have a campfire at our tent site, and had to schedule a campfire at the main area. It said this in the fine print, so it's on me, but I booked the place because they advertised that campfires were allowed, and I didn't read the fine print. This seems to be more a HipCamp issue than one with the camp. Totally understand why it's limited, it's fire season.

We had a great time camping! What a hidden gem, we had the whole place to ourselves. Very well maintained and camping next to the river was amazing. Not to mention, our host was super friendly. We will definitely be back

Camping- access to Navarro River
A great campsite in a fantastic location. The Anderson Valley is a special place. So close to redwoods, incredible beaches, and beautiful river. And the winery filled valley itself is beautiful as well of course. We were the only campers that weekend so had lots of space to spread out and roam. Lots of easy walks to shallow river spots for play. And I had been worried about parking from the description but it was right next to the campsites for unloading. The outhouse was clean but our kids did have a tricky time using it (first time with an outhouse). And the mosquitos were prolific. It was a very lovely spot with easy communication with staff. Had a great stay.

Camping- access to Navarro River
This site is really good for solos or couples with no kids . While booking I tried to book a spot and asked if I can bring about 11 or 12 people . 4 of them being kids. That was a big nope supposedly because the camp would be to crowded. So we decided to try and get multiple sites and when I asked to do that I was told there were no additional sites available but cabins were. So I searched in airbnb and there was tons of camps sites available on that . I was lied to and was trying to be pushed into a more expensive site.
Upon arrival we set up camp the 7 of us 4 adults and 3 kids . The “Host” came and picked at everything she could to make extra money . She said I would have to pay for the extra 2 kids I brought which I thought was crazy but I agreed. 2nd she assumed we had 3 cars with us and we only had 2. Then she pointed out my dog and said if she barked we would have to leave . She walked around and in our campsite looking and hovering all over and made us feel very uncomfortable and not at ease. We felt like we were being watched the whole time . The camp was nearly empty but was told there wasn’t enough space . There were multiple dogs on the site and I have photos . So why were we such a problem ! Oh and the most offensive part was the host and her drunk husband assumed we couldn’t speak English ! And tried to talk to us in their broken Spanish . The site was beautiful but the host made the whole experience miserable constantly texting constantly complaining.

Camping at Rivers Bend
I loved tent camping here! The campground was private and not busy for a Memorial Day weekend! It was us, the squirrels and the stars all weekend long! Easy access to the river and amazing views! We will definitely be coming here again!

Camping w/ access to Navarro River
We had the entire campsite to ourselves and it was lovely — a beautiful spot under the trees with a picnic table and a toilet and sink nearby. This is on the grounds of a resort and the campsite is surrounded by tent cabins but no one else was there. If there were other campers, or other folks in these cabins, it would have been too crowded for us. But it was quiet and perfect. You could see the stars and deer frequently came for a visit.
The river is nearby but this summer it was extremely low. We found a swimming hole after walking for about 10 minutes but didn’t go in.
