Amazing views. Quiet, peaceful setting. The outdoor shower was amazing! Bring headlamps for the short walk to the bathroom at night.

Such a peaceful retreat! I came out to Santa Cruz for a wedding and wanted to stay somewhere cozy and inexpensive. The VW bus was great choice! Even in the brisk evenings and rainy weather the VW bus kept me dry and I was able to bundle up to stay warm. Great views, and morning coffee at the cafe table. A great place to recharge and restore!

This little forest top hideaway was so cute and romantic! I loved the string lights, the environment was so nice, and Connie made the place so inviting and lovely with so many little personal touches. My boyfriend and I had a great time here as beginning campers! Thanks Connie!

Wonderful retreat in the woods. My 12 y/o and I stayed in the van & found it comfortable and everything was as described. Great views. It was sufficiently private for us & we were able to enjoy visiting the nearby state park and dinner at the marina in Santa Cruz. Thanks for welcoming us to your space!

Daisy was great! Directions to get there were very clear and the view was lovely. The van and site were clean and tidy. There was a space heater, kettle, outlets, mugs, and coffee supplies. The shower wasn’t super private but the bathroom was 100% private (it was an indoor and comfortable space). Overall it was a great stay, I would totally go again!

Loved the stay at la casita! View was beautiful, cabin was very nice and clean and host did a great job communicating! I have the say the outdoor shower was the best shower experience as well. Only “downside” is very low ceiling on the loft bed but not negative experience just something to keep in mind so you dont bump your head but very comfortable otherwise!

The location of the property and the Casita cabin were had nice views and property wasn't difficult to get to
However, one thing to keep in mind is that although there is a fire pit to be used on the property, it might not be available for your use depending on whether the hosts choose to use it as it is effectively in their backyard . We were staying for 2 nights and were able to enjoy the fire pit the first night and cook some dinner over it but the 2nd night we arrived to it being used presumably by the hosts. Obviously, hosts are entitled to enjoy their own backyard at their discretion but a heads up would have been preferred at the least. They used our firewood as well and we were never reached out to about that and they never seemed to acknowledge our presence.
Just something to keep in mind if you do intend to use the fire pit on the property.
Overall, I feel that for the price that we paid, there should have been some more privacy and clearer communication about the use of the amenities

I had a fantastic stay in Daisy. Not quite as secluded as I envisioned, but that didn’t sour my experience. Wonderful space with easy access to restaurants, cafes, great hiking, and Santa Cruz beaches. The fire pit, and view from it, were awesome. All in all a great experience

I loved my stay at the beautiful La Casita! Such a peaceful place to relax and enjoy a campfire with the refreshing forest air. Be sure to stop at the Safeway in Felton to pick up a box of firewood – the campfire completed my amazing experience at Connie's cabin. And for the decor enthusiasts, you'll be greeted with eclectic decorations in both the cabin and the guest bathroom. I also spoke with Connie's husband while at the property – who was so friendly and offered recommendations for local adventures. Highly recommend you check out La Casita!!

Connie’s casita is adorable. Very clean and comfortable. My favorite part was the view from the front door and the fire pit nearby. Loved this space and would absolutely book here again. It was close to some great hiking and the town of Felton has some good shopping too.

Mixed feelings. On one hand, the campsite is beautiful - the scenery is gorgeous, the bus itself is super cute, and the view is truly killer. On the other hand, the campsite isn't as private as advertised or nearly as secluded as we would have liked - it is stationed directly next to the parking lot used by the tenant and other guests staying at La Casita.
The outdoor shower is connected to the cabin where the tenant stays, which was a bit uncomfortable given that you can be seen directly from the cabin and the shower curtain was quite low. Lastly, the bathroom did not have running water and the compost toilet leaked, which was not fun. No hand soap was provided so bring your own.

This location is dreamy! The camper has electricity so we were able to use our crock pot to make chili for dinner and brought a camp stove for breakfast. The outdoor shower was pure bliss after a day of hiking. And the outhouse was very convenient and made a great spot to store my gear and clothes so I didn't crowd the camper.

Daisy was a great bus to stay in for multiple nights. Beds were very comfortable, shower and amenities were exactly as described. Connie and her husband Peter were helpful when we needed it. The town of Felton is cute and a great launching point for hikes, trail runs and a short drive to the beach.

This was possibly one of the best Hipcamp stays I have had. The camper is perfect - nice clean fluffy linens and pillows, tidy inside and out, with clear instructions and recommendations for local restaurants / activities provided. There is a picnic table and 2 chairs located right outside and I brought my own cooler, but there is one there provided. The scenario is absolutely gorgeous with all of the redwood trees. Thoughtful touches with chairs overlooking the views were provided. The bathroom is right nearby, with a compost toilet, and privacy. The outdoor shower is connected to the cabin nearby and hot water and pressure was great - a fantastic experience to shower under the redwood trees. I was able to relax, read my book, walk around the property trails a bit and truly had a wonderful time. I dined at several of the restaurant suggestions and had a lovely time. This is on private land and I felt very safe as a single female traveler. Thank you Connie!

We loved glamping at Connie’s tiny home. It was as pictured and met all of our expectations. The view was amazing, and it was the perfect getaway for our anniversary from the Bay. She also had tiny thoughtful touches and was very communicative and transparent which we really appreciated. Would definitely stay there again next time and recommend to our friends.

Overall we had a great experience. Nestled in the redwoods with a view from the deck. Lovely redwood loop path. Outdoor shower of our cabin was great. Even the privacy was nice.
We used a shared bathroom off the main house when nature called. A second comfy (small) chair inside was desired. I found the bed comfortable, once in. The narrow entrance to the loft bed was a bit tricky for this 50-ish couple. We enjoyed our stay, but did not see the same value our host put on this small tiny house.

Daisy was ahhhhhhhmazing! I looooooooved how caaayyyuuute, adorable & cozy the accommodations were! ***The van was perfect for my hubby & I to sleep, and the expansive firepit/patio area was provided a beeeaaaauuutiful area to relax/unwind & soak in the gorgeousness that is Felton.

Connie’s directions to La Casita were very specific & we had no problem finding it. Upon entering the property we were blown away by breathtaking views. We couldn’t believe it!!
La Casita is a very cozy & intimate tiny house! It is decorated very tastefully & Connie’s attention to small details such as the Keurig, speaker, & robes elevated our experience. We loved the communal areas like the fire pit & the wisteria walk. It was all so beautiful.
The outdoor shower warmed up so fast & the water pressure felt amazing! Coffee in the morning out on the deck was such a great way to start our day.
The bathroom in the main house was still private to us so that was awesome.
I would suggest bringing a little fan as it gets a little stuffy in the loft bed. Other than that, La Casita should be on your list of places to stay!

My partner and I had an amazing stay at La Casita. We were travelling from Canada and this spot had everything we needed - towels, an outdoor shower, and an amazing view. It was the perfect spot for a 2 nights stay to visit surrounding areas in California like Santa Cruz and Big Sur. Hoping we'll be back again sometime in the future!
