All of our tent sites come with a picnic table, fire ring, park Wi-Fi, and access to the park bath, shower, and laundry facilities. Sites vary from grassy to treed, some with large Trex platform decks and others with more traditional grassy camping surfaces. Rates are for 2 adults, with up to 2 children for no additional charge. Parking for one vehicle. Note that the photo is an example, it is not necessarily the specific site you will receive, and also that fires may not be allowed at times of high fire hazard.

Quiet area with good hosts and very scenic. What you get here compared to other places is space, trees/nature and proximity to trails and the big redwoods.

Totally acceptable family campground. If you are looking for privacy and shade, go elsewhere. If you are however okay with close proximity and basic amenities, this should work fine. The reason that we have camped here more than once is the proximity to the Smith river and Ocean beaches.

Great RV site! Spacious pull-through site. Amenities as advertised. Very close to Jedediah Smith Redwoods Park. Gas station and decent store right next door.

Registered via Hipcamp and the registration stated "30 amp back in". We honestly weren't expecting much. This is a nice little RV park with friendly staff and even friendlier people staying there. A mixed bag of transients and people staying in the park for extended periods everything was clean and orderly. Is located very near the Redwoods. Just Northeast of Crescent City.

It is in a beautiful location, just a 1/4 mile from the Redwoods National & State Park North Visitor Center and only an hour from the Oregon Caves National Monument Visitor Center. We reserved a platform site with power, but were placed at a site with no platform or power. The sites next to. us were occupied by a large group that were exceptionally noisy, intoxicated and loudly discussed adult topics. They parked in our campsite and had several large dogs that ran around off leash. We respectfully asked them to quiet down a bit after 10:00, but it had no impact. Although camps can't predict how their guests will behave, it is their responsibility to enforce quiet hours and any other rules they set - dogs on leashes, maximum cars at site, etc. We decided to leave early and sent a text to the host because we were leaving before the office was open. The host was very responsive, and offered us a new site and refund. We had already packed up and left, so opted to find other accommodations, although we appreciated the host's response.

Well maintained, safe and great for families. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again. Very close to hiking trials within the Jedidiah State Park.

This was a great spot! Close to the redwood forest & pacific ocean (~20 min). The host gave us great activity recommendations with directions. Right next to gas station (off set from road) so easy access to firewood, gas, and other quick buys.

We were right next to the pond, frogs were loud but not overwhelming, great at drowning out residual noise from other campers utilizing the sites. Bathrooms were always clean, stocked and temperature controlled, had hot water consistently for every shower. We were there for 4 days. The market at the entry was very convenient with all essentials. Office staff was personable and made sure to say hi when walking the grounds. Platforms were larger than what photos portrayed, making everything very convenient we could have used our 10 sleeper tent with ease but opted for the 6 sleeper. Power on site next to platform, allowed for electronics to charge keeping the kiddo entertained, far enough to feel remote but central enough to all the great things northern California has to offer! 10 out of 10, will definitely be back.

The bathrooms were clean and showers were warm. There is a fire pit at each site. The photo didn’t match the tent sites - they do not come with a wooden platform and electricity. There are specific sites called “platform tent site” that include wooden platform and electricity. There was a potable water spigot in the tent camp site area.

RM was clean, and convenient to Trees of Mystery. Easy instructions to get in after hours. The showers were very tidy, nearly as clean as the KOA we stayed at previously but that place had a full time staff. We will return on our next trip!

Wasn't exactly what I expected. Sites were close together and you can hear traffic from the road. There are free showers and laundry room which was great! I tent camped, I think if I had RV/fifth wheel type situation I would have appreciated a little more. Staff and on-site long term residents were all friendly. Can hear lots of frogs which i like.

This was very disappointing. The campsite was totally over grown with weeds. The power was not working. The site was at edge of the property and felt isolated. As a woman camping by myself, I didn’t feel that safe. I tried calling someone to change sites, but there was no after hours contact. I ended up moving to another site that also didn’t have power. They advertised WIFI, which was either non-existent or completely down. The two positives were the bathrooms were very clean and they had an off leash dog park big enough to play fetch. Overall it was very disappointing for the price.

It felt like more of a “live in” RV park - we were likely the only travelers there. Clean facilities & super convenient location & access. Store & services near all closed earlier than expected, so grab groceries, etc. elsewhere or earlier!

This was a great experience! 🏕 The camp sites are spacious, woods line the tent road, and there are picnic tables at each site. It's right off the highway, so it's easy to access but a bit of noise. The nights are quiet & we mostly heard frogs in the pond. Bathrooms have a code, there are nice full time RV guests & the office also has a late night/non person check in for us introverts 😉 Will definitely come back! 👍

Awesome tent spot to stay in near red wood forest! The wooden platform for the tent was very large and in good condition! I also feel like the tent spots were far enough away to feel like you weren't completely in an RV park. The bathrooms and shower were lovely and clean as well!!
