This trip was a dream!

I loved this campground! I will definitely seek it out again next time I need a getaway. I originally booked site 1, but when Lily offered to let me choose another site when I arrived, I chose site 7. It was the perfect vibe for my trip - shaded and secluded, tucked into a nook and right up against the creek in a way that felt very accessible. Lily was super attentive and communicated promptly, she’s great! I felt safe as a solo camper just looking for a place to be close to nature and content to Be in the quiet. Leo the groundskeeper was friendly and thoughtfully checked in with me to make sure I had all I needed, without it feeling intrusive and immediately leaving me with the feeling of being safe.

Site was as advertised. Charming and Peaceful. The facilities were very clean. Beautiful spot and just what we needed to unwind from the daily grind and just unplug and not worry about our work for the weekend. Looking forward to have a bigger group at some point. We visited the other campsites and they were very nice as well.

Lily is an absolutely incredible camp host. Her site is pristine and offers everything one might need. We rented the entire property for me and 24 of my girlfriends and it was paradise for a situation like that!! When a ton of us camp, it can be really difficult finding the perfect spot with enough space, privacy, and accommodations. But red dragonfly ranch has it all— Freshly cleaned / restored porta potties (we were so impressed by how good they smelled and how clean they were), hot running showers, a handwashing station. They offer a 5-burner grill, options for extra propane. Communal picnic tables. Solar fairy lights. Propane fire pits. Tons of parking + space for camping. And Lily’s groundskeeper Leo was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed! Our trip was truly so unforgettable because of the campsite and Lily’s hospitality. We are ABSOLUTELY staying here again in the Spring, and we’re already counting down the days 😅 Thank you so much, Lily!

We rented out the entire camp. Awesome place all to ourselves. We were able to explore, hike, and sightsee. Everything was in working order. They gave us access to their five burner grill, which was a life saver.

Beautiful Campground and Great Host

We had an amazing experience at Lily’s campground! From the start, Lily was a fantastic host with great communication, extremely kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. We booked out the entire campground for our group, and everyone had a great time. The campground is absolutely adorable with a quiet, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up sites before our arrival. The amenities were just what we needed: clean bathrooms, hot showers, convenient sinks, and beautiful evening lights that made the space feel magical. Lily has chickens on-site that were so cute and fun to watch, adding to the overall charm and outdoor experience. Her friendly dog also made us feel safe throughout our stay to protect us from wildlife animals. Another big plus: it’s not far from Yosemite National Park, which made day trips super convenient. If you're looking to book a campground near Yosemite, you absolutely need to check out Lily’s Red Dragonfly Ranch. Highly recommend!

Such a lovely campground! The showers were clean and hot, the portable toilets were clean. The campsite was super cute, each site was set with string lights and the picnic area had propane fire pits and a grill. The chickens were so cute and friendly! The WiFi was super useful for downloading offline maps before heading into Yosemite. This is the perfect spot for people who want the vibe of tent camping but still want a few amenities like showers and tables to make your trip more comfortable.

My partner and I had a lovely time at dragonfly ranch :). We stayed at camp sight 7 and loved the sound of the little creek from our tent and how the spot was a little more tucked in. The bathrooms were very clean as well and the showers were very nice to have. Lily was also very accommodating and quick to respond to messages.

Lily was so communicative and her place was easy to find. The sites were well kept and the solar lights at night were a great touch. We were welcomed by her group of chickens who were great entertainment throughout our stay. The porta potties and showers were well kept and clean. Would stay here again!

We had a really lovely time staying at camp site 1 on our weekend trip to Yosemite. It’s about a 45 min drive to the park (and then another 45 just to get to the bulk of the hikes!) which was convenient for not being in the park itself. Site 1 feels more secluded than the others, but it’s a bit of a trek to the bathrooms/showers. We didn’t find that to be much issue though. Would def recommend and stay again!

Really great Hipcamp! The amenities were excellent, including propane showers (they get very hot!), propane fire pits, and a grill. Lily and her groundskeeper were very helpful and communicated with us every step of the way to make sure we had a great trip! We will definitely be back next time we have a group trip and need to rent a large space. Thanks!!

Great Spot Near Yosemite

This was a clean, quiet campsite, centrally located near some great hikes and not far from Yosemite. I stayed at Site 4, which was a good size. The toilets were clean, and there are two showers with hot water. Overall, I was really impressed and would definitely stay here again. Plus, there are chickens wandering around to make friends with, which is always a bonus.

Dream Yosemite vacation!

Such a great property! We felt right at home from the minute we showed up. The chickens ran down the hill to greet us as soon as we got out of the car, which was a nice surprise! Our fire pit was waiting for us, the string lights were hung all around our site. All we had to do was set up the tent and we were all set. The port-a-potty’s were fresh and clean, I thought the sink with running water was a huge plus! The showers were incredible! Hotter water than I get at my own house lol We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spot. We found an amazing breakfast spot just up the road at Priest Station, right on the way to Yosemite. We took the drive to Yosemite every day, it really wasn’t a bad drive. Only about 40 min to the park, and then further to the valley and other sites. I would recommend this ranch to anyone, and can’t wait to go back! Thank you Lily!

Great time at Dragonfly Ranch

I had a blast camping at #2 campsite at Dragonfly Ranch! We stayed for 2 nights and we enjoyed the experience including the charming campsite (with lights for evening ambiance), the clean port-a-potties, the outdoor shower and the friendly and elegant chickens and roosters! We also enjoyed the picturesque Rainbow Pools just a few miles away (15 min drive)! Lily was very communicative and helped us with all our questions and needs. A great time was had by all!

Dragonfly Ranch is one of my favorite camp grounds near Yosemite. I have stayed there twice and the camp grounds are very well maintained and very clean. Their services on site is also very good and staff is very friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work and I will definitely will be coming again next year!

This was easily the best birding campsite we've ever been to. If you want to get 10 feet from a falcon hunting, or be serenaded by quail all day, then this is the place. Also Adorable chickens follow you around. Super cute. Not only did we see 20+ types of birds, but the campsites are all lovely and every one is right next to the creek! We definitely plan to come back! Highly recommend!

We had a great time camping here! Site six has nice big trees all around it that offer great shade during the day. The string lights at night are a great touch and the propane fire pit was perfect for a little heat. The kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows. The bathrooms were clean and smelled pretty decent considering they are port a pottys. The showers are cold water only but it felt great after a day of hiking in the heat. Lily was quick to respond to any questions we had. The chickens were fun to have around, the kids enjoyed feeding them in the morning. We definitely would camp here again!

Beautiful camp ground! We rented the full spot for a group and it couldn’t have been better! Lily was very kind and set us up with electric fires. There are pretty solar lights hanging. The stars were incredible and the sound of the frogs was lovely.

The campsite was amazing, and the hosts were wonderful. Port-a potties were maintained very well, cleanest ones I ever been in. Only down side were the excessive amount of bee’s, and the 2 aggressive chickens that were pecking at us.
