Orangeland RV Park stands out as a unique family-owned destination that has been welcoming guests since 1972. Founded by E. H. Welton, the park was designed to embody a true FAMILY atmosphere rather than just a family-run business. This commitment to creating a warm, inviting environment has earned Orangeland the prestigious Park of the Year honors from the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) on two occasions. Nestled on the site of a former orange grove, Orangeland features a variety of citrus trees, allowing guests to pick fresh fruit during the harvest season. This delightful experience adds to the park's charm and enhances the family-friendly vibe that keeps visitors coming back year after year. Many guests express sentiments like, “This just feels like home,” or “We feel like we’re part of the family here,” highlighting the strong sense of community fostered at Orangeland. In 1979, Orangeland transitioned into a family corporation, ensuring that the Welton legacy continues. Although Mr. Welton passed away in July 2012 at the age of 95, Mrs. Welton now serves as president, with various family members actively involved in the park's operations.
