New Pine Grove Campground is situated entirely within the Point Cabrillo Lighthouse State Park, and features a few private, secluded campsites with walking access to the Pacific Ocean. The sites are accessible on foot only, and we provide hand-drawn wagons to bring your camp necessities to the sites. This makes for a natural, pristine setting free of cars, generators or other modern connivances...there isn't even a cell signal! We do have immaculate bathrooms with flush toilets, and a recently-remodeled laundry room. If you're looking for something more rugged and secluded near Mendocino Village, we'd be happy to host you!Grasslands campsite is situated in the central Western area of our park, with views of the pine grove, extensive grasslands, and the ocean. It's a 15-minute walk down to the ocean, and another 15 minutes to get to the Point Cabrillo Lighthouse. Tent camping only, no motorized vehicles; but bicycle camping is encouraged! Guests have access to bathrooms with flush toilets and a coin laundry, about 400 feet away, as well as running water, about 200 feet up a gentle incline.

Grasslands campsite is situated in the central Western area of our park, with views of the pine grove, extensive grasslands, and the ocean. Best sunsets and location!

me and my friends had such a lovely time at this campsite! There were so many excellent services provided and such a welcoming community that made us feel safe and at home. The walk to the campsite was no problem at all (less than 5 minutes and very scenic) and we had basically private access to some of the best ocean views that Mendocino has to offer. Recommend this to anyone!!!

I camped for two nights with my sister here!! The views were spectacular. Definitely enjoyed the sunset and stargazing. Overall, very user friendly camping!! Hot showers too!! We were spoiled🥲 Thank you!!
