Learn more about this land: Welcome to our property, the Mini Homestead! We are excited to welcome you to our special property just north of Joshua Tree. We are the ideal launching point for all of your desert adventures! About the property Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, and Twentynine Palms are all nearby should you need to grab some supplies or need services. Palm Springs is only about an hour away as well. If you are looking for outdoor adventure there is amazing rock climbing and hiking in Joshua Tree National Park which is just 15 minutes away. For a cultural experience you can visit a cool art installation by Noah Purifoy which is right in our neighborhood. If you want to stay close by there are goats and horses and dogs to meet on our property! Then after a long days adventure relax in our onsite hot tub. In the summer when it's nice and hot our outdoor swimming pool can really hit the spot as well. Stargazing is also really good at our property any time of year. I've been hosting for several years now and really enjoy all of the interesting people that I've met! My dogs have really appreciated all the extra pets along with my horses and goats :) When I am home I love to come out and greet my guests and show them where the pool is and say hi. Sometimes I am not here because I'm out running my kids around, but I'm always a phone call or text away. I live on the property so I am always around for anything you might need. It's super important to me that every guest has a fantastic time so please reach out! About the listing This listing is for our vintage trailer which sits at the north west corner of our 5 acre fenced property. Our trailer fits up to 2 guests. Inside the trailer there is a toaster, hot plate, and an electric tea kettle. Outside there is a barbecue for your use. There is also a sink, and refrigerator in the trailer. Finally are utensils for cooking, a pot and pan, plates mugs and glasses, coffee and French press, and some seasonings! There is a sink, toilet, and shower in the trailer. The shower is rather small and the toilet should only have toilet paper used in it please. Some amenities listed below: -Toilet onsite (in trailer) -Kitchen and utensils for cooking -Sink and shower in trailer -Private picnic table provided -Good cell service, no wifi -Trash bins available Additional details to note Check in is after 3pm and check out is before 11am. We prefer not to have early check-ins or late checkouts. If any lids are taken off of hot tub or pool they're put back on when done. Ask before visiting goats or horses. Horses need to be introduced by the host so please don’t approach them without asking first. Please let us know if our dogs are acting inappropriate at all. Our older dogs are great but we have a couple of new puppies that have some learning to do. If a small white cattle dog is in the yard please text us so we can bring her into the house. She barks a lot. If our big white Pyrenees puppy is barking at you please let us know so we can correct him. We also have 3 goats that call to us at feeding/milking time and chickens that make noise when they are laying egg. Please do not bring any pets of your own. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and slippers in the winter!
