A haven tucked beneath the sky,
Where stillness sings and beauty lies.
I recently booked this beautiful property for me and my pup Ivy to stay at for a few days, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. The space was absolutely gorgeous, peaceful, and full of charm. The pictures truly don’t do it justice! Ivy and I enjoyed our morning walks around the pond where she was able to observe the ducks, and I was able to enjoy my coffee. We made sure to stop and smell all the beautiful flowers throughout the property.
Sequoia national park is only a short drive away; it was truly so nice being so close yet away from all the burdens of a crowd.
But what truly made the experience special was the host. Marlene was so incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect. It’s rare to come across someone so gracious and attentive. I’m deeply grateful for the care and hospitality, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. So thank you, truly, for the stay.
We’ll hold the memories we made beyond today!

Absolutely incredible place to stay! The only bad part was having to leave. Waking up surrounded by the incredible mountains and fruit trees will forever be one of our favorite stays. The site was fantastic! Marty and Marlene are great hosts! We will definitely be back!!

The pictures do not do the property justice. It is far more beautiful in person. RV spots are nestled far away from the main house. Our dogs loved being able to be out and about.
The hosts were incredibly helpful and we really could not have had a better time!

Great place, great folks! We’ll be back for sure. Loved spending time around the property with ducks and geese in the pond, a couple very friendly cats, orange and lemon trees, a pickleball court and an old tractor for my son to play on. Not to mention, great conversation with the hosts! Thanks again.

After reading 19 positive reviews that referenced the peace & serenity of the RV site, we booked the spot. We arrived at 8:20p.m. and even in the dark we could tell it was a lovely property as per other guests. Unfortunately, at 3:10a.m. we were jarred awake by a horrible racket that lasted for hours. It sounded like the property was surrounded by dozens of helicopters. The following morning, a gentleman approached my husband and apologized for the disturbance. He explained that industrial-sized fans were triggered by dipping temperatures and that they are activated to prevent spoilage of the fruit. There needs to be transparency in listings and let guests decide if they’re prepared for sleepless nights during certain months. Nothing about this listing, or the reviews prepared us for such an awful night. We then had to depart for a long days’ drive while significantly sleep deprived.

We got in past dark and were still welcomed after a long day of travel. I only wish we had more time to explore this beautiful property. Cool property….Sites are nice and clean. We enjoyed a fire by the pond and playing pickleball. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

The place is beautiful, and the hosts were wonderful! We arrived in the afternoon and they recommended us to check out Exeter. It is a very nice little town. It is also the perfect spot to unwind after a visit to Sequoia NP ! Would definitely recommend !

We arrived late and it was already dark. Good luck for us that Marlene‘s husband had just opened the gate for us, welcomed us and told us which way to go. We were tired from the drive and took the wrong turn, ending at the house. Then we would have had to back out in the dark with our huge 31 ft rental RV. He offered help and drove it down to our spot. We were so grateful for that!! Spot had nice lights and a picnic table. We looked around in the morning snd the property is really wondeful. A small lake with a beach, nice trees, everything really nice. We cam highly recommend it and will be happy to come back!

We loved our stay at Lucky Dog Ranch. The hosts were very kind, friendly and generous.
If you look for tranquility surrounded by orange tree fields, grass hills, flowers & beautiful landscaping, right by a cute pond with walking paths along the ranch, you’ll love it!
The ranch is perfect and safe for young children to explore nature and look for the very friendly cats. We had an amazing stay!

Wonderful stay! Beautiful private oasis. Great conversation with our lovely & very accommodating hosts as well as offering privacy. Super easy in and out with our 21’ travel trailer. Sites level, water & electric work great. Ideal stop between Yosemite and seqouia or big bear.

This is such a beautiful place to stay! They’ve made this property a hidden little paradise with hill views gorgeous trees and cozy lights 😍 We arrived to the area a day early and our campground couldn’t get us in so we were very happy to find somewhere to stay! We arrived here after dark in the pouring rain and Marty came out to guide us. I felt awful we our tires made a mess of the mud but Marlene and Marty were very generous and didn’t make a fuss at all. Definitely recommend staying here as long as you can. Had there been sewer hook ups we would have loved to extend our stay!

Friendly hosts and good accommodations with a fabulous pickle ball court. Our grandson entertained himself picking oranges and playing with the cats. It was easy for our granddaughter to go for a run along the canal or thru the orange grove. Marlene was happy to let us pick tomatoes, parsley and chives.
When we are in the area again we will gladly stay with Marlene and Marty.

Marlene and Marty’s Hipcamp is ideal. Water, power, picnic table, pickleball and incredible views. Add a gracious host and you have the recipe for a great experience. If you haven’t seen the giant Sequoias nearby, please get the scoop from the hosts. It’s well worth the drive!
