Our little farm has full hook-up sites with septic, great water, 30 amp electric, WiFi. We are located halfway between Brookings, OR and Crescent City, CA near the Wild and Scenic Smith River, Tolowa Dunes State Park, Lake Earl Wildlife Area, and Kellogg Beach (1.3 miles from camp) on the Pacific Ocean. The beautiful redwoods and Jedidiah Smith State Park are just minutes away. So many outdoor activities available nearby; Kayaking, swimming, surfing, fishing, hiking, biking, horse riding, bird watching, beach combing, and all the outdoor activities you can imagine. The farm animals are friendly, they love goodies and scratches (kitchen scraps, and Shiloh the horse loves carrots and apples!) Kids should be accompanied by an adult. Please close gates behind you!

Site 1 - Lower Lake Farm Camp
Oh my! Just couldn’t ask for anything better. Jose and Carolyn are the nicest couple and the place is beautiful! Love the sound of the ocean and very short drive to a Kellogg Beach. Our truck and trailer is about 41 ft ling and with some careful backing, we fit in nicely to site #1. We look forward to staying again.

Nice hosts, great location near the beach, fun to watch the goats and sheep. The dogs did bark for awhile as we pulled in, and they are quite close to the parking spots. But they calmed down in a few minutes and remained quiet through the night.

Jose and Carolyn were great! Their spot was in a nice central location close to the beach and redwoods. We spent most of our time at the Jedediah Smith campground since they had a great day use spot and flushable toilets :) since we were car camping. If you are looking for a spot to lay your head and safely store your gear, then I’d definitely recommend. This is a farm at the end of the day though so the dogs bark quite a bit and the horses are pretty stinky.

Site 4 - Lower Lake Farm Camp
We loved our time here!!! Carolyn and Jose walked out to greet us with fresh eggs from their chickens. Their beautiful horse, chickens, and funny goats were all tame to be around with the kids. They had full hook ups included septic which was a huge plus. Their neighborhood is adorable with a mile bike ride to the beach and Alexandre Family farms (best chocolate milk). Massive greenhouse with all the veggies to look at. Very safe area too! 15 min from the Jedediah Redwoods Park - we did Grove of the Titans and Boy Scout Trail. Unreal!!!! Highly recommend this stop. We stayed in space #4 and it was lovely.

Carolyn is an excellent host. She has put a lot of effort in creating a welcoming site. We enjoyed talking to her and learning about the history of her farm. The sites are big with plenty of room between each rig. The hookups are well maintained. The location feels secluded with gentle serenades from the farm animals that surround the area.

Overall we had a nice experience. It felt very secluded and the animals were fun to see. The lost coast and the ocean right down the street made it so convenient. Unfortunately there is very limited cell service (Verizon) and the WiFi doesn’t reach the sites, even though it is advertised as having WiFi (so don’t count on it). Hosts had good local recommendations and hook ups and parking were easy. Would stay again!

Such an quiet and welcoming spot. Everything was like described. Enjoyed scenery, close by lonely beach and quietness. #4 is last in the row and had the hammock right in front the van 😉 J & C warmly welcomed us and made our stay beautiful. No rooster around and for a farm stay a quiet night sleep.

We had a wonderful stay at Carolyn & Jose’s serene farm. They warmly greeted us and gave us fresh eggs and lots of local recs. Lovely property and lots of animals, we love the dogs. Super clean, had electrical hookups and a nice hammock. Very quiet at night, would definitely stay here again!

LOVED this place! Had everything we could have asked for and more! So peaceful, relaxing, private feel, quiet, and great hosts! We met Jose when we got there & Carolyn when we left - she was nice enough to share some farm fresh eggs with us (yum!). Would love to come back here again & highly recommend for a great spot outside of Crescent City while visiting the Redwoods! Pro tip: great dinner at Seaquake Brewery, lunch at Seaside Bakery, and coffee at Java Hut :)

The property was narrow but we were able to turn around at the end of the driveway and back our trailer in. We chose site 4 which was a really nice site under a big tree. When we arrived, there was construction being done on the house until 9:00pm but that didn’t continue for the rest of our stay. There were several time when the dogs were barking including very early in the morning the day we were leaving. The property was in a beautiful area and we loved feeding the animals. When the dogs weren’t barking and after the construction stopped, the property was very peaceful and relaxing. There were full hookups at our site and it was nice to have WiFi, although it was weak and kept disconnecting. We would definitely recommend this camp site to others and we will keep this site in mind for future trips. Jose and Carolyn were very friendly and welcoming and even brought us fresh eggs! Thank you for making our stay comfortable!

my husband and i loved being able to car camp here! there are no bathrooms on site, as it’s more intended for RV camping, but carolyn did direct us to a vaulted/pit toilet about 2 miles away. they had 3 beautiful friendly dogs, chickens, goats/sheep, and a horse! we were free to give them some treats and pet them :) carolyn introduced herself to us right after we pulled in, and ramon was very friendly. we would definitely camp here again!

Jose and Carolyn’s l farm was very cute and the spaces were spacious. We had site 4 with a beautiful view of a small pasture with pretty yellow flowers and horses grazing. It was very peaceful and serene. We slept well in the quiet atmosphere.

We stayed for 4 nights at their little farm and enjoyed our stay. A Full hookup for a fair price and much better than an RV park. The hosts were great and it was a convenient location to visit the beach and the Redwoods. Be sure to visit the Stout Grove nearby. It is the prettiest place in the Redwoods. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

A wonderful spot to spring board off into the land of giant trees! Kimberley beach, just a mile or so down the road was not crowded and lovely. If all four spots are full it would be tight. We ended up in spot 4 and it was great (hammock included!)The horse and goat were fun to feed. Host was present and responsive. The eggs were a bonus!! Fuel up at the reservation, about 5 min south of crescent city. Trees of Mystery is a tourist trap but a lot of fun. Kids had fun walking through the path. Go early as it gets crowded in the afternoons.

Such a great little spot to relax and unwind. The walk to the beach was perfect and I loved being able to pet and feed the animals every day! Carolyn and Jose were very sweet. Jose even busted out the chainsaw to get us some small wood pieces for our little wood stove! Would recommend 1000%

The campsite was great, close to the beach and to the redwood national park. Jose and Carolyn were very helpful and responsive. We had the camp to ourselves, could be crowded if fully booked, but the location is perfect and the hosts very nice!

This spot is quite lovely and mostly quiet. We were not ready for the three large dogs constantly outside right infront of all the sites. They bark very loudly at all hours. We were awoken 4 times during our week long stay between 2 and 4 am. At one point they were barking for 30 minutes Im the early morning hours. They will also go nuts around 7 am and 6 pm every day, I’m assuming when they are fed. The property was beautiful and the hosts were pleasant but I’m really not sure if I’d recommend this place to others because of how much loss of sleep and general irritation the loud barking dogs brought. I also have a cat that sits outside with us on a leash who couldn’t be outside almost the whole time we were there because the dogs went crazy when they saw him. Close to beach, and fun art festivals.

We absolutely can recommend staying here. About 1.5 miles to a public beach that had few people and miles of beach to walk. About 10 minutes to the Jedidiah Smith Redwoods National Park visitor center. Quiet location and welcoming hosts.
