Nestled in the picturesque Oak-studded foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Lake Amador Resort stands out as a unique family-owned and operated destination since 1972. Just a short drive of one hour from Sacramento and Stockton, and two hours from the Bay Area, it offers a serene escape into nature. Lake Amador Camping features a spacious campground with 113 sites spread across a 100-acre area, all shaded by majestic oak trees. Most campsites provide running potable water, with some offering electricity and many located right at the water's edge when the lake is full. Guests can enjoy hot showers and flush toilets throughout the campground, and select sites near the swim pond even have complimentary Wi-Fi access. Reservations are required for camping. In addition, Lake Amador boasts a 73-site Deluxe RV Park situated on a private peninsula. Each RV site comes equipped with full hookups and free Wi-Fi, ensuring a comfortable stay. Some sites are reserved year-round for residents and vacationers. As with the campground, all RV sites are available by reservation only, so be sure to call ahead for availability. Adventure awaits at Lake Amador, where you can explore the expansive 400-acre lake featuring 13.5 miles of shoreline. Bring your own boat or rent one
