Cazadero sits in a valley in the hills above the Russian River watershed, nestled along the flowing waters of Austin Creek, and shaded by towering redwoods, the tiny community of Cazadero (pop. 454) offers both small-town and outdoor delights in Sonoma County. Cazadero is located 7 miles west of Guerneville and 12 miles east of Jenner on the  Pacific Ocean.  The actual town is located 6 miles north of Route 116 up the Cazadero Highway the confluence of Austin Creek and the Russian River meet at the intersection of California State Route 116 and Cazadero Highway. Step back in time at the 100-year-old Cazadero General Store, which stocks an array of everyday and luxury items.  Friday nights at Raymond’s Bakery means live music and wood-fired pizza. Visit the Vintage Jeep dealer and see all the amazing restored vehicles or Wine taste at the local Cazadero Winery.  Play tennis or basketball on the courts in downtown Caz, directly across from the local fire department. Bring your bicycle and explore the many peaceful but challenging roads that lead off the main streets and then take a dip in Austin Creek at one of the many swimming holes.
