Great group tent campsite!

Tent+RV Camping-Historic Gold Mine!
The property is just outside San Andreas, CA in a shaded valley shadow which keeps the sun from baking you the whole time. Doris, the property manager, was very welcoming and friendly. The campsite is at the back of the property on a hillside curve. It has a large flat tent area with a gathering/cooking area large enough for a group. It's fully shaded by trees so again, not super hot. There was a picnic table and garbage can with lid on the site. The bathroom, showers and pool are about a two minute walk from the campsite. All three were super clean and newer condition. The pool isn't heated but with high heat in the summer, it was very cooling and refreshing. The area has lots of birds, no varmints to steal food, few mosquitoes but a few yellowjackets. There was garbage and recycling dumpsters to leave garbage bags when checking out.
Overall this is a very comfortable campsite for all ages with clean facilities and about 20 minutes to the closest parks, water and activities. I'll definitely be back! Thanks Gold Strike!

Quiet safe cute little spot to stay! Felt totally safe, neighbors were nice, restrooms were clean, would definitely stay there again if I’m ever in the area again!
