We absolutely loved this spot. Every detail on the site made us feel like we were in our own oasis. So thoughtfully done and I can’t recommend this site enough!

This was my second stay at Lauri's. It's always very relaxing after a work trip. Lauri baked me fresh scones on my second morning there, which were amazing!

Lauri is an amazing host! She stayed on the phone with my husband and I to ensure we arrived seamlessly. Her property is so beautiful and well thought out for guests to feel relaxed, clean and prepared. We love that it had the feel of a nice hotel but “glamping.” The vibe definitely embraced the elegantly decorated safari theme. We loved the gardening that included fruit trees, the fire pit and seating set up was very cozy. Appreciated that not much packaging was needed except for our clothes. We were very comfortable overall, perfect setting of the outdoor full kitchen, indoor full bathroom, especially hot running water was so nice. The bbq grill was super convenient. The electric cooktop cooked super fast and well. The fridge was awesome! There was even an extra cooler aside the fridge for extra room/storage of items that didn’t fit in fridge. The yurt is so spacious, very clean, cozy and all amenities were spot on. The heater blanket already made ready on the bed kept us perfectly warm all night long. We definitely plan to return again and again. What a wonderful place to get way and enjoy such elegant surroundings. Lauri is so sweet and thoughtful, to think of us with a sweet postcard note to welcome us upon arrival and even in the morning, although it was beautifully raining, even made time and care to bake us blueberry scones to surprise and cozy us even more, but we were sorry we left too soon and we missed out. Definitely recommend this place!

I loved glamping in Laur’is eco tent, it was spacious and had great amenities. She was extremely accommodating & the location was awesome. By far one of my favorite glamping spots, I will definitely be back!

My daughter and I stayed at Lauri’s eco tent last Saturday night and had the most wonderful experience from start to finish! First off, Lauri was incredibly communicative, friendly, and very resourceful about all sorts of activity options in the area, food spots, wineries, and other. She was so accommodating and really great to work with.
The tent itself is very cool- fun ambiance with beautifully designed decor and vibe, great rocking chair and front porch space to relax in the morning and evening and for star-gazing, and I really nice attached bath house with clean and pretty touches. We had fun exploring the property and neighborhood, and we really enjoyed nighttime inside the tent. It was extremely hot outside that day, but inside the tent was very reasonable due to the strong fans that are inside.
I would highly recommend this spot as and excursion delight for anyone looking to unplug a bit and enjoy the serenity of nature, grab food or cook a meal in her equipped outdoor kitchen, and just generally unwind and relax.
Thanks so much again Lauri- we’d love to come back!!

Not sure I want to leave a good review as I want to make sure there’s plenty of availability so we can go back again ;) But seriously, we loved it! Beautifully decorated, peaceful and low key, plus great tips for the local winery/car collection stop off.

Loved this spot! If you come across this listing and are on the fence, just book it—you’ll be glad you did. Howard and Lauri are fantastic hosts! The tent has everything you need for a refreshing stay: super comfy bed, equipped kitchenette, a lovely bathroom, and the tent itself was so sturdy and cozy even on a rainy/windy day. Would love to come back!

I loved staying at Lauri and Howard’s Eco tent!!! It was well equipped with everything you may need. Lauri is communicative and so lovely to talk to, she explains everything thoroughly in her welcome email in order to maximize your stay. We had such a beautiful night. Will definitely be back here in the near future!!!

Much more than advertised. Lauri has done an exceptional job providing every possible ammenity. The tent itself is alluring and cozy at rhe same time.
The outdoor space well is nicely laid out with nooks and cranies to explore and enjoy the peacefulness.

Our stay at the African Safari Eco Glamping Tent was wonderful. There were ALL the comforts of home, and the whole layout was efficient and functional. The gardens were peaceful and the ambience was quiet--exactly what we wanted. The site was even better than described, and the hot water shower was so nice after a long hike. Lauri communicates thoroughly before and during the stay, and the notes around the site were really helpful. It's a beautifully appointed tent, and the creativity and ingenuity to conceive of such a structure is impressive. Worth checking out, for sure.

Wow! We stayed for one night and it was perfect! Lauri put so many kind personal touches that make you feel right at home. A handwritten card, treats in the fridge, homegrown tea and smudge sticks (that smell like heaven)! The tent is clean, the bed is comfy, the kitchen has everything you could need to make your meals. The fire pit is perfect to relax, have a fire, and watch the stars. We stayed in January so it was pretty cold at night but the heated blankets on the bed get WARM and there are two heaters in the tent! The bathroom was clean and easy to use. We just loved it and wish we could of stayed all week. It was really nice to have personal touches that make you feel special! Great getaway to relax and recoup!!

Everything about this place is wonderful. Lauri is very accommodating, we arrived later than expected and she made sure that the tent is lighted and heated. The entire place and ambiance will put you at peace once you get there. The kitchenette has all the things you need while the bed is comfy and cozy. I will definitely go back ☺️

What an amazing and unique stay! We stayed for 1 night to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and it was exactly what we hoped for. We loved the feeling of being off grid, while still having access to amenities and comforts of home! The tent is so beautifully decorated to feel warm and welcoming. So many little thoughtful touches to make our stay perfect. Enjoy wine and making s’mores by the fire, playing cards, listening to music/nature and stargazing is all you need! Lauri is a wonderfully sweet host- I can’t recommend this safari tent enough!

My favorite Hipcamp experience m, HANDS DOWN. The entire place had everything we could’ve dreamed of and more. The host (Lauri) was such a darling and eve. Made us fresh LEMON SCONES on our last day - cmon!

Lauri was an amazing host! She was in contact with us prior to arrival as well as during our stay. She was absolutely welcoming and super kind, she provided some snacks with lovely presence of their two dogs!
There's also options for DoorDash if you don't have time to prepare.

We basically used this as a home base while we went to a weekend music festival, but absolutely loved our stay. So many thoughtful touches to be grateful for. And if you make it into town, the Curbside Cafe was delightful along with the surrounding shops. Our first big trip since 2018 was so wonderful and it started every day and ended every night with such a beautiful place to call home.

This glamp site exceeded all of my expectations! I usually go camping and have been to some wonderful camp sites, but now I get why people LOVE glamping!
Tent:
The tent was so large and spacious with laminate wood flooring! The decorations were cool and the host had a bunch of personal touches that made the experience feel so special. Like smudge sticks to take home, games, and books to look through. The bed is large and comfortable! Oh and there were fans!
Bathroom:
The shower was spacious and clean. Plenty of hot water and the water pressure was so impressive! It was my first time using the composting toilet but by the end of the trip it felt easy to use, just took some getting used to.
Outdoor Area:
The highlight of the spot! Lots of space to lounge around, by the fire, on the hammock, on the deck, and lower where they set up a cornhole play area! The view of the sunset was so magical.
There are so many more things I enjoyed about Lauri's Glamp Site, but you should come and find things to love about here for yourself! You won't be disappointed with the site!
Lastly my favorite part was that Lauri and Howard provided us with a bundle of wood! So we could start a campfire, it was nice not having to bring my own wood. One less thing to pack.
I can't wait to be back!

This place is stunning! The hosts far exceeded my expectations in every way. No stone was left unturned. Everythimg you needed was there, comfortable bed with heating blanket, appliances that allowed you to cook anything you'd want, ambient lighting, a chiminea for fires, coffee,tea, spices, a hot shower that was huge! Even got to pick and pick yummy blackberries. The view and amazing landscaping I could enjoy for days. The list really does go on and on. If your thinking about this spot, think no further and just go! Wont regret it. Thank you for having us and cant wait to come back!

Ahhhh! I loved this place! So simple and felt so safe. The decor was down to a T. Everything was so beautiful. Fresh fruit in the yard below and a nice fire pit for the cool nights. We enjoyed every aspect! Lauri thanks for being so sweet and swingin by!
