This location was absolutely wonderful. We loved every moment of it. The house was clean, orderly and has everything and more. This was very therapeutic. From the game, puzzle, bed and all. Everything was perfect.

Overall a nice, quiet cabin, albeit a ways out there. Would have been great for 2 people, but the couch (advertised as a place for a third person to sleep) was badly sunken in and not a functional bed. It felt like trying to sleep in a hole. I've slept on a number of couches over the years, this is the first one I couldn't handle -- I opted to sleep on the hardwood floor the second night.

Absolutely wonderful stay, the bnb was everything we were hoping for. Very secluded, very close to the park, very clean, and stocked with cute little touches. I would absolutely come back to stay here again.
My only notes that were non-issues for me:
DO NOT IGNORE THE GIVEN DIRECTIONS!
Seriously follow the directions given as some of the side roads can get fairly sandy. If you get lost or try to make your own detour, you might get stuck if you're in a smaller sedan. However, if you follow the map provided you can absolutely reach the property in a car that is not 4WD/AWD.
Wifi. Wifi on the property is not the best, however signal is fairly strong and I never had an issue loading anything up just off my personal data. If you are planning on staying here and working remotely I'd ensure you have hotspotting available. Even if not, there are tons of cute cafes nearby!
To end, this stay was amazing. I wouldn't let any of these scare you away from this spot. More things to be aware of. We genuinely loved this location and could not recommend it enough.

This was the perfect and off the path place to stay on Joshua Tree and we will definitely be coming back. It’s quiet, the furnishings and decor were perfect, and it had everything we needed for memorable moment under the stars. I went here with my boyfriend as an anniversary getaway. As someone who came from a third world country, the bits and pieces that made the cabin wonky didn’t bother me much. One of the things that prop up the curtains on the back door was broken and so it kept falling on me when I would move the curtain. That’s my only complaint, really. However, there’s a door by the bed that was difficult to shut and seemed like it was maybe broken down at some point. This made my boyfriend paranoid the whole night and didn’t want to stay another night, so we unfortunately cut our trip very short.
Other than that, the apartment was clean. I didn’t encounter bugs like a review mentioned, other than 2 flies that got in. Bathroom was pristine, had toiletries, loved the living room, and the bed was comfy. There was a little bit of oil left in the kitchen drawer, which saved my life for breakfast.
I expected the road to be bumpy like people say, and it was my second least favorite part, next to us having to leave because the door didn’t make my boyfriend feel safe.
Mixed feelings about this place due to my boyfriend’s valid feelings and my own opinion about the place, so it’s up to you if you don’t mind that. I didn’t really mind it, personally, but I also get it.

This cabin was perfect for me and two friends! It is so thoughtfully curated- not too much, but everything you need. It’s nice feeling like you can bring your self into the space. I can definitely see doing some solo art or craft days from there. Halfway between the park and the integratron, which was perfect for us. Gorgeous sunset. The space felt really safe and was very easy to get to. Thank you for having us!

My wife and I had an amazing stay. The sunset and stargazing were breathtaking and it was very peaceful. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice and roomy, the kitchen had everything we needed, there were even games and a guitar. I highly recommend this stay if you have a larger car or truck to get through sandy roads. It was confusing trying to find the route with less sand but we made it and had a great time!

It’s a very special spot in the vast desert. Cute cabin that has everything you need for a nice little stay. It was a perfect landing pad in transition.

Perfect for a quick getaway. Enough space for a small family of 3. All amenities provided and the town is a close-ish distance away (about 25 mins). Home was extremely clean & had A/C. It was the most comfiest bed we have slept in EVER, asking Jessica for her links for the mattress and pillows hahah! Was able to utilize Instacart which is a MAJOR PLUS. It was too hot for us to want to enter the park but there was plenty to do/see in town & close by the cabin for free! Museums and art sculptures, amazing (Noah Purifoy was our favorite)! There is a lake/fishing campground close by. I fell in love with the Cafe Tango Frozen French Vanilla Espresso in Valero gas station, perfect for the heat. Las Palmas Mexican restaurant was more like a watered down Mexican food spot. If you see “beef, chicken, pork” as protein options, don’t except SD style Mexican food (i.e. no asada, carnitas, adobada, etc). Quick note, a sedan should be fine to get to & from the cabin, but I preferably would never & stick to a suv/truck/4wd just to be safe. We preferred taking Sunburst St to Borden Ave as the least bumpiest. Roads are pretty bumpy for comfort. The deck outside was great for the absolutely breathtaking stargazing!

The cabin itself is very remote, which is special for someone seeking solace from the loud and busy city life. The cabin was very cute and perfect for a getaway for yourself or you and a partner. The night sky is breath taking and the quiet of the surrounding area is peaceful and penetrative. I love that the only Joshua Tree for perceivable miles was on site. Cozy, spacious, simple, aesthetically pleasing.

Magical stay in the desert. Love how Isolate you felt. The house was extremely cozy with plenty of amenities. Within 25 minutes to the Joshua Tree Visitor center and 40 to some popular sights.
Very minimal complaints but there are a TON of bugs due to the remote aspect
The doors are ancient and wind pretty much pushes them open when it’s ripping
Wifi was pretty much non-useable at the speed I was getting
Will absolutely back and highly recommend.

Jessica's cabin was IDEAL. Completely as described, if not better. Communication was easy and consistent, the cabin offered clean, comfortable accomodations (wow the pillows!), quiet, stars, and blue blue desert sky. Completely a 5 star stay.

I love spending time here at this little hideout. I came out for a solo trip for some peace and quiet and thats exactly what I got. It is the perfect size for 1-2 people if you need a little getaway. I will 100% be back

This cabin exceeded my expectations!! I spent a solo trip up there. Spent the day seeing art for Desert X, I am always blown away with the beauty of the desert along with getting to see some cool art pieces as well!
Pappy and Harriet's for a late night show. Spent some time doing yoga at the house and enjoying the solitude. Saw an epic sunset at the Daniel Popper "Transmission" sculpture (6 mins from cabin) Saw the best sunrise ever and saw the beautiful bright moon and many stars. Would 10/10 stay here again and hope to be able to come spend many more moments here. Great host, clean space, as advertised, incredible space for a little desert get away!!

Jessica’s cabin is cute and comfortable! It was the perfect size with plenty of space for comfort. Not too big or not too small! I’ve stayed at a few places in JT and this one is by far one of my favorites. Considering all the amenities, location, and overall comfort I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to visit the area.

Amazing private quiet location with views of the mountains and a solid place for stargazing. However it is far from any stores so plan accordingly. To bad I got side swiped after my stay lol. Love my stay will be coming back soon!

We loved our stay in this cozy cabin! We enjoyed stargazing at night and relaxing on the deck in the morning. It's a great place for a peaceful desert getaway and close enough to JT to go and explore during the day. Would love to stay again!
