I went here with my boyfriend as an anniversary getaway. As someone who came from a third world country, the bits and pieces that made the cabin wonky didn’t bother me much. One of the things that prop up the curtains on the back door was broken and so it kept falling on me when I would move the curtain. That’s my only complaint, really. However, there’s a door by the bed that was difficult to shut and seemed like it was maybe broken down at some point. This made my boyfriend paranoid the whole night and didn’t want to stay another night, so we unfortunately cut our trip very short.
Other than that, the apartment was clean. I didn’t encounter bugs like a review mentioned, other than 2 flies that got in. Bathroom was pristine, had toiletries, loved the living room, and the bed was comfy. There was a little bit of oil left in the kitchen drawer, which saved my life for breakfast.
I expected the road to be bumpy like people say, and it was my second least favorite part, next to us having to leave because the door didn’t make my boyfriend feel safe.
Mixed feelings about this place due to my boyfriend’s valid feelings and my own opinion about the place, so it’s up to you if you don’t mind that. I didn’t really mind it, personally, but I also get it.
Overall a cute place.
