We loved camping at this site! It is a great location, super close to town, and the bathhouse is beautifully built, clean and functional. Our hosts were wonderful, would stay again!

Loved this place! Spencer was very friendly and helped us get settled. The bathhouse and hot tub worked great, just had to share with the other campsite. Felt private and comfortable next to the pond, the frogs sang us to sleep. Will definitely be coming back!

We had a really nice time here! Spencer is incredibly nice and welcoming, and the space is super cute. Lots of animal noises, but it adds to the ambiance and didn't keep us up at all at night.

Spencer and Laura were fantastic hosts! Communication was excellent and they made us feel right at home. Their property is fantastic, and as note by multiple others, sunsets are amazing. The sculpture garden site is really unique and provides everything a camper needs. We took advantage of the hot tub too! It was a wonderful experience and it was so nice to be able to have a real campfire! We’ll be back!

Spencer and Family are delightful and refreshing; kids sooo well behaved. They gave me a warm welcome and then total privacy for as long as I wanted, but available if needed.
Considering the fairly basic amenities of the campsite itself (no hookups, and fetching filtered water was a slight schlepp), the bath/shower room was deluxe!
I enjoyed the wild turkeys, occasional pair of geese, and the whinnying of neighbors' horses. Nearby dogs (maybe a small kennel up the hill) briefly barked a few times a day, but only for a minute before going quit again.
Mostly, I loved the peaceful vibe, closeness to historic Yuba River Bridge, and a sense of being out in the country despite the short drive to Nevada City.
I'll definitely come back!

Spencer was a great host and set us up with an awesome spot to camp on his property, which is just a few miles from the Yuba and Nevada City. Highly recommend!
