This spot was chill! It’s easy to find, set up, and was a fun, novel stay! it was so quiet you could hear the birds flapping their wings and it was a lovely evening. A nice time out. No toilet paper in the bathroom, but not sure if that’s normal or was a mishap. Either way, all around a nice time. Thanks, Jessica and Josh!

Great stay! If you’re going after sundown plan ahead, there’s no service on site. Will be back more prepared next time. Loved seeing the ostriches :)

Very unique and affordable campspot that's ~30 min away from Santa Clarita and Lancaster. Fantastic restaurant 3 min away called "The Rock Inn." Bathroom situation is acceptable but could be improved.

A very affordable and accessible tent spot that was great for a night. The real unbeatable experience was meeting the ostriches, which I highly recommend- they’re otherworldly. Lou was also welcoming, informative, and a great dude. I’ll be back around the ranch again someday.

I loved the open space. The ability to see the stars at night unlike ive ever seen before. The ostritch farm was really cool. The kids were a little scared bc they've never seen a bird that big before. The axe throwing and archery stations were really cool. We have never camped before. This was our first time. And our biggest thing we loved about the place was enjoying mother nature knowing that if u did not have a reservation, u were not coming in. That little sense of security helped give us peace of mind.

So much fun! Jessica showed us everything we needed to know about ax throwing and archery. As well as the history of Quail Run. We took a Tour of the ostrich farm with Lou. He was so informative and VERY patient with all of our questions. Everyone was very welcoming even the ostrich that shared their kantling with us. Don’t know what that is?? Guess you’ll have to go find out 😝

We booked two sites. Came with my daughter, son-in-law and 2 of my granddaughters. We had fun. Caught frogs. Did archery and axe throwing. Jessica and Lou were both friendly and responsive. We got honey and some ostrich oil. The stars are amazing at night.

So lovely!! Arrived late at night and what a pleasant surprise the ostriches were in the morning! Very quiet, seems like there’s lots to do on the property, peaceful and cute. Most definitely booking again when I drive down to LA again this summer!

Great spot! We did archery, axe throwing, and the ostrich tour. Jessica and her son were amazing and fun instructors, and Jessica was extremely knowledgeable about ostriches. We bought ostrich oil and loving it so far, made our skin so smooth!!! The campsite had a communal fireplace and a bathroom, which was perfect for what we needed for a one night stay.

Nice and clean property. Many Ostriches and other birds. Had a good bathroom. I wish it had a shower. Even a cold outdoor shower would be an easy and useful addition. Otherwise, I would recommend the stay.

Great spot to pull up & camp. Easy to find, friendly hosts. No frills, but you’re getting a safe spot to set up camp. Also, they have some really big birds near by. Not convinced that the birds are friendly, but they’re part dinosaur, so friendly is an unfair expectation. Planning to camp there again & may even make an extra large omelet…

This was a fantastic spot! The area was maintained, bathroom was a plus, the bbq grill and fire pit was amazing. Jessica was very helpful and responsive. Thank you! As my 3 year old son said, “let’s go back here mama!” We will be back!

Quail Run served the purpose of a place to park our van overnight, it had a flushing toilet and cold running water. RV spots were not clearly marked and there was random trash left behind that I would had preferred not seeing. The ostrich were cool and the goats were entertaining and for their sake I’d love to see this hip camp do well…

A gem of a place off the beaten path, yet not so far from I-5 to impact travels N/S. I found this place at the last minute, needing a place to stay for the night. I ended up staying 2 nights just to savor my time there. I went on tour of the farm and learned all about the largest “bird” on the planet — the ostrich. They’re beautiful, and one of the roosters (males) kept doing what appeared to be a dance, displaying its gorgeous feathers. This is a working ostrich farm and Lou, my guide has a deep, rich knowledge which he gladly shared. The property has several good-sized camp areas, an outdoor communal area w/fire pit, grill, a sweet private garden and so much more, all nestled in a green canyon. The hosts were very responsive, accessible and gave clear instructions. I would highly recommend and definitely stay here again. Loved it, thank you!

Very friendly host. Everything was very easy. I never saw an ostrich in person (or heard them) and that was really a fun experience. I definitely recommend reading instructions because they talk about keeping distance and not walking in the area (very important if you have kids that might wander around). It looks like a really great place for groups. They got swings, BBQ, and even a stage! Also, bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

Stayed here overnight. The host was very accommodating especially since I bumped into some unexpected road closures and arrived later than expected. It was a very peaceful night and I woke up to some adorable looking ostriches strutting around. Quite a sight to see. Would recommend! ❤️

Me and my sister stayed here together for a night! It’s super different and something we would’ve never done! The campsite could’ve had maybe a bit more for shade, there was one big tree for shade. There are a few picnic tables to put your stuff on, it would be nice if they were spread out a little to feel like you have more privacy! The common area could be cleaned up a lot and there’s random pieces of pipes and construction pieces all over. We took the ostrich tour and Lou is a great guide, knows everything about animals and his ostrich’s! We bought their local honey, and they also sell the ostrich eggs!

We had a great time at Quail Run. My wife took the tour with Lou. He was very informative and funny. Camping is basic, they supply you with the land to park your RV or a spot to pitch your tent. Restrooms are near camp spots and picnic tables are available. We had the place to ourselves, it was quiet and we had the benefit of a full moon 🌕. If your looking for a place to camp with added attraction of being near 20 or so ostrich, this is the place for you.
