We had a peaceful and relaxing stay at #3 with our camper. The campground's amenities are well-thought-out and bathrooms well-maintained. There are obviously bugs and mosquitoes, but nothing overly bothersome. The coils the hosts kindly provided at the picnic tables were enough for us. There were other campers at the other sites, which are all pretty near to each other. May not be for you if you're hoping for something that feels more private. Otherwise would definitely recommend.

We had a really nice stay here with our dog! The sites were clean and level, the tent site we had was pretty private from the other sites. The campfire was awesome, and the shower was also really nice. Thank you!

Campfire was really peaceful and beautiful. The shower was amazing!
Nice balance between social opportunities by the campfire and privacy at your campsite. Lots of fun additions provided like hammocks and raised wooden platforms mounted between trees. WiFi also a big plus. Less than 10 minutes from Mendocino.

Great, great place to camp for the night. Fun outdoor shower and the campfire ring was great. Convenient to Mendocino when myself and two friends were riding motorcycles down the California coast.
All in all, a great experience-- it's too bad we could only stay one night.
What a gem! This place is so beautiful. My partner, dog, and I had so much fun exploring all of the spaces. The communal firepit was great - and free wood was so nice! I loved showering every morning and having a sink to do dishes was amazing. Plus less than 10 minutes into Mendicino and the Big River. Would highly recommend booking this site.
Pretty cool spot. As most of the reviews mention, there are mosquitos. Not the worst, tho. I stayed in spot #1 which is probably the least buggy. Also worked for my solar panel to charge my battery during the day. The other spots are super cool, especially #3, but not as good for solar batteries or for the skeeters. A little closer to your neighbors than most hipcamps, but the amenities make it worth it. Plus I made friends with the other campers with fun communal fire pits at night. Overall I would give it a 9.5/10. Excellent!
Camping at Nat and Pearl's was magical for us. You can clearly see the love and care they've put into the property and the land there, and it was one of the most peaceful places I've stayed in a long while. The firepit is incredible, and the shower is hands down the best camp shower I've ever used. Highly recommend!!!!

Campfire is such a lovely place, quiet and beautiful. The community campfire is delightful as is everything else!
We took our van up to #3 with our dogs to play on the coast and bang around Mendo and Ft. Bragg. The sites are kind of small and relatively close to each other but the trees and shrubs offer some decent privacy. The common area has a nice big fire pit with lots of chairs and camp blankets and the propane grill worked well enough for our needs. The shower was the highlight—good water pressure and hot! The only drawback to our stay was the insane number of mosquitoes but otherwise a very nice little campsite with good amenities.
The spot we had was perfect for my sprinter van. The access was easy and the spacing between the sites was nice. The only downside was some road noise but would go back

Very lovely, comfortable experience on our last night in the Mendo/Ft. Bragg area. Had spent two nights at MacKerricher before the one here. #3 site is great for a bit more privacy if that’s what you want out of the 4 available sites. It’s set off more from the central area. Didn’t take advantage of that communal area but it had good energy along with a limitless firewood supply for folks to enjoy. Did take advantage of the warm shower area that was great after two nights out at MacKerricher. Dogs are allowed and one of ours made quick friends with a young playful pup there already. There are mosquitoes but it’s the forest and to be expected. The friendly hosts provide repellent and mosquito coils if needed. And they’re easy to contact if anything might come up. Highly recommend it!

This is a peaceful space, tucked into the forest and curated in a way that invites reflection and connection. We loved spending time around the communal campfire as much as sitting and listening to the wind blowing through the trees. A magical space, indeed.
Nat was responsive, friendly, and proactive in ensuring all flowed smoothly for our stay. I’d certainly return again!
This place is wonderful. We stayed in site 3 in a cabover camper. The campsite is flat and easy to back in.
There is a lovely shower, clean porta potties and a communal fire pit. There are only a few campsites, so you have a lot of privacy.
There were misquotes, but with the fire pit, the misquote coils and natural bug spray we were ok. Very close to Mendocino town and some of the best oysters and fish and chips in Ft Bragg. Check out Princess Seafood Market and Restaurant. Also, Noyo Fish Company.
There is a little local artist store by the Princess Restaurant, check it out.
Glass beach is amazing. The Botanical gardens are also beautiful.
We were going to only stay one night and ended up staying two.
I loved tent camping at #4! Intimate little spot with good privacy from the other sites yet still close to the fire pit. Met and chatted with some other campers there which was great. It id a lovely maintained campground as a whole with fantastic amenities. Packing in your own potable water is no issue when everything else you could need is provided!! Nathaniel and Pearl provide an amazing environment and I will definitely be back!

They have created comfortable spaces in a nice area.
It is a wonderful campsite. Quiet, near Mendocino, clean Porta-potties, hot and cold water, chairs, benches, shower w/ hot/cold water, dishwashing sink. GREAT camp fire pit area and WIFI! Site 4 is my favorite, but a little dusty and could use wood chips. Also, mosquitoes at night but effective coils are provided. Bring your DEET. Highly recommended. We hiked at Hendy redwoods near Philo and also Van Damme—both are great.
This was one of the best camp sites I ever stayed at. Fantastic location near the coast in the redwoods, beautifully cared for, wonderful extras. I misread the listing so we brought our own firewood and donated it to the cause.
There was a stack of wood, kindling, tinder ready to go with a fire extinguisher just in case and bucket of water for drowning the coals when we went to bed. I always bring a hammock, but having one ready to go so I didn't have to set mine up to relax was so nice. Bug spray, and mosquito candles provided. The chairs with blankets around the fire 🔥
I'll be back again when I have a few more days for a longer stay.

My family and I loved the campsite. The area was beautiful. We had campsite 4 and it was great and it had plenty of space. I had to call Nathaniel for something and he was so helpful and friendly. We would stay at their place again if we happen to be in that area.

Really enjoyed our time camping on the property. Fellow campers were so respectful and the place was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop, even though it was Memorial Day weekend.
The mosquitos are definitely no joke. Swarmed our car as we pulled into our site. I'm used to mosquitos so just made sure to spray my clothes with Permethrin. FYI if you hear a eerie screeching sound at night, foxes are prevalent in the area. Very close to town-about an eight minute drive. That was perfect for us and our dog. She loved exploring the beaches.
Second time coming to the site. One of our favorite spots!

Site 3 was the best site in Thai great campground! Small and intimate, the sites are fairly close together which is great for getting to know your fellow campers, but maybe not if you’re looking for a private getaway. The hot shower was incredible! Definitely a highlight for us after a full day of hiking and trail running on the beautiful California coast. One thing to note: these campsites are within earshot of the road, so maybe pick a different one if you’re looking for the totally off the grid experience.

Nice place. WIFI worked well, and the outside shower was wonderful.
Wonderful experience! 10 min drive to Mendocino shops/restaurants, 25 to downtown Fort Bragg. It's a nice sized property, with very clean porta-potties (yes, porta potty but it's clean and they have a water container with hand soap to wash up after!). Campground 4 is closest to the super warm shower and sink. There is an old sauna but it's more like their storage. WiFi on grounds works great. Shared communal fire pit may not be everyone's favorite, but it was nice meeting fellow campers. They provided fire starter and all you can burn wood. They also have bug spray if you need. The firepit area and shower area have cute night lights up all night. We had banana slugs and deer in the morning, was so lovely. Basically heard no cars from the road. Overall, 10/10 for this type of camping - somewhere between camp and glamp.

We really enjoyed the quiet, peaceful and woodsy atmosphere. The spot is convenient to downtown Mendocino. We'll be back.
