Camp Treefeathers
My group and I had a wonderful time staying on Matt's land. Plenty of room to spread out, beautiful area, and we had lots of fun playing ping-pong in the game room. The kitchen was super handy and well-equipped and the fire pit area was a great spot to make smores at night and hang out. It was great to be able to bring doggos as well.
I'd highly recommend and will probably book again!
The hosts were responsive and helpful.

This was our third year at Treefeathers and it did not disappoint. There were ten adults and thirteen children and four dogs and everyone had a blast, from the kids cycling around the site, playing in kayaks and SUPs on the pond, swinging in hammocks, playing games in the meadow, taking star gazing walks through the Christmas Trees and cooking delicious meals on the grill and in the kitchen. We will be back!

Our daddy-daughter club of 35 people spent the weekend at Camp Treefeathers. It was absolutely perfect! The property is beautiful and private. The pond really makes it feel special. The facilities are perfect to easy the burden of cooking for large groups. Dewey was great and ensured that we had everything that we needed to have a great stay. We loved it and will be back again soon!

Camp Treefeather was wonderful! It easily accommodated our group of 21 campers. We were given a friendly welcome by Dewey who also took care of various daily chores around camp, which kept camping easy and the camp pristine. When we ran into some electrical issues Matt, the owner, was quick to help and got us back to cooking within the hour.
A lot of our students were hesitant about camping but by the time everyone explored the camp and realized they even had the opportunity for hot showers they were 100% on board.
I only have good things to say about this camp, thank you Camp Treefeather!

This is the 3rd year we have stayed at tree feathers, but it will be our last. Our first trip featured the original owner Greg. He and Dewey (the site host) were wonderful. Warm, charismatic, and clearly interested in hosting a family friendly campsite. Unfortunately new ownership has quintupled the nightly price. The amenities have if anything decreased (pond-boat is gone, kitchen is barren, etc) compared to prior years. This past stay we found the new owner to be unhelpful and unresponsive to basic questions (a request for directions to a swimming hole was answered with the name of a several hundred mile long river without details).
We are regular family campers with young children, and have never left a campsite messy. We take pride in the leave no trace ethos at every campground. We left Treefeathers in good shape this year (as the prior2) but despite that received messages from the new owner bizarrely claiming we left the site "the worst he had ever seen". This is despite multiple walkthroughs by multiple adults prior to departure without any problems noted. Comically enough, Dewey regaled us prior to departure with stories of groups hosting raves and thoroughly trashing the site. We requested photos of the claimed damages but got nada. Overall this is a great property, but with a serious case of bad vibes (except for Dewey - he is awesome!). Next time we will rent the 5 bedroom, 3000sqft house w 6 acres on airbnb which rents for $475/night and is a short drive away.

Camp Treefeathers
We've visited Camp Tree Feathers two years in a row now and both times have been fun. The pond encourages a lot of wildlife which is very fun to watch. The hosts are very nice and come by every morning to make sure we have what we need. This time they had some goats on the property and they brought them over for their evening walk to say hi. They were very dog friendly. Everyone from our group always has a fun time at Camp Tree Feathers.

We loved our stay at Treefeathers! Having the whole campsite to ourselves was so great, especially as we had plenty of kids cycling around, catching frogs and generally disturbing the peace ;-) We were there in the middle of a heatwave but there was enough shade to keep us cool, and Matt's team ran the sprinklers for the kids to cool off. Having a kitchen felt like luxury and just made large group camping a lot easier, and we appreciate the help and advice we were given when there on local activities including rivers and lakes to cool off in. There are many thoughtful touches and we can't recommend this site enough. We will be back!

We had so much fun here. Great combination of camping and rustic amenities. Felt like an old school summer camp. Next time we'll bring a bigger group and come when it's cooler when we can use the fire pit. But the hot weather was really nice for hanging at the nearby river, loved it.

This was our second time camping at Treefeathers. Matt has clearly put a lot of work into the place since 2021, and the improvements are terrific. He was an attentive host and we had an incredible time. There are two beautiful ponds this time of year- lots of birds, frogs and turtles (though be very attentive of young children around the water!) We really appreciated having access to a small kitchen and running water, and the kids loved the game room. There's a nice swimming hole within a quick driving distance. We plan to come back!

We love Matt’s camp! Our third time and even better than last. The natural beauty of the place is amazing. The renovations are fantastic! Covered hot shower with sitting area. Full kitchen, fridge, toaster, microwave, coffee pot with complimentary coffee and hot chocolate. They have clean Port-a pots! There’s art supplies and games which was nice to use out on the many picnic tables. This place is like a hybrid of airbnb and Hipcamp.
Matt, Dewey and family has hospitality down. Super nice and generous hosts. So, go book Camp Treefeathers!

From the moment we pulled in, I knew Camp Treefeathers would be a special place. Dewey, the camp host is delightful, attentive and a gem in human form. Matt, one of the owners taught us so much about his property and you were able to feel his passion for his land. His brother, Eric, radiated the same passion. This land is spacious but you still feel cozy and close if you had other family members join you. We were fortunate enough to have the whole place to ourselves but I wish family and friends could’ve shared this space with us. There is plenty to do, room to run for kids and adults. If tranquility is what you’re after, you’ve got it. If sitting around an amazing campfire is what your life needs, ya got it. If you need a hot shower outside, ya got it. If you want to camp under the stars and hear the frogs, ya got it. Want to sip in fresh and clean Christmas tree air, ya got it! Seriously, this land is worth everything you need to do to get here. Matt, Eric and Dewey are the best. I hope to stay with them again so very soon. Thank you for sharing your land with us!

I held my birthday at camp Treefeathers with 25 of my friends (and their kids). I loved the place. The host at the camp was super friendly and helpful and only stopped by at prescribed times.
The layout for RVs and camping felt great. The kitchen and grills worked delightfully (I was able to cook 5x meals for 25 people there).
While the water is potable, I would recommend bringing water as the well water is different from city water.
Loved camping there. I’d do it again, and several of my friends said they wanted to stay there again next year.

Best camp and hosts! Our 2nd time back and as we remembered Matt and Dewey were super sweet and accommodating. The site has had even more upgrades and it’s just amazing. Even without the pavilion, full kitchen and Porta potty, the site itself is amazing. The privacy and a large space to ourselves can’t be beat. Our family of 3 and 2 pooches love Camp Treefeathers!

My (now) husband and I held our wedding at Camp Treefeathers.
We were astounded with the amount of effort the camp manager Matt and his team put into making our day as beautiful as possible. The campsite is beautiful, well kept, and proficiently managed. Our family (even some from Arkansas!) loved the site so much, we’ve decided we wanted to make it our future spot for family camping trips. If you look foreword to trips outside the city, or an escape from work, my husband and I do recommend.

We got to spend one night at Camp Treefeathers before the smoke from the Caldor fire blew in and made the air quality too dangerous to stay in. The host graciously offered a refund since we weren't able to finish our trip, but we'll be back.
The site was beautiful and private -- two ponds (one currently dry) but frogs everywhere. The kitchen was stocked with tools and the oven and fridge worked great. Extra chairs, table, hammocks, umbrellas everywhere. We had everything we could possibly need.

This place is amazing! The site is a nature wonderland for families and dogs. Huge property with two ponds, lots of trees, meadows, grassland, all sorts of wildlife! We tent camped but felt like we were glammping. The property has a pavilion with TVs, movies, projector, foos ball, couch and a large table. There’s swings, hammocks and lounge chairs everywhere. Oh and there’s a full kitchen! No need to bring camping stove or cooler with ice. Tons of picnic tables and clean Porta potty’s.
There’s just so many amazing things about this site but what really makes this camp were the hosts. They were super chill, accommodating and generous. Matt the owner has deep roots at Feathercamps and has knowledge of the area and history of West Point. I wish I can keep this place a secret, but really everyone should visit!

Staying at Camp Tree feathers was great! Having the campground to ourselves meant we were free to explore, gather as a group without interruption, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. The kitchen space was essential for our meal prep. With the awesome trees everywhere, we were able to escape the heat. Definitely would recommend.

It was rustic and lovely, a flashback to 1970s summer camp. In a drought year the ponds were less a place to play than to birdwatch, but the swimming hold 10 minutes away by car was idyllic. The guys checked in on us in the morning, felt quite private. Kitchen had pots/pans/cooking knives/spatula/etc, we just needed our own dishware and flatware.
Expect some bugs, it’s hipcamp, not hipbnb.

This place was amazing. Full kitchen to use and a separate game room with couches, foosball table and a ton of games. There is plenty of room and shade for tents and there is a big grassy area to play games on. The river is a 7 minute drive down the hill but is definitely worth it. It is deep and there are rocks you can jump off of. The pizza right outside the property is really good as well. Will try and book again and come back with more people.

This was our second time at camp treefeathers and it was awesome just like our first time! There were quite a few upgrades from last year and being able to sleep in the pavilion with our cots made it even better. Thank you for letting us visit your great camp. The host are very attentive and just nice guys! We will be back!!

Our second trip to this beautiful spot was just as magical as our first time last summer. Greg has added more hammocks and tree swings, and the property has such distinct character: a rustic retro summer camp vibe out in a beautiful slice of nature. It’s a pretty fantastic combo. We spent two days down at the river and it was awesome climbing over giant boulders to get to the perfect swimming hole. Thanks so much Greg—we’ll be back again!

Beautiful as always. Definitely upgraded from the year before with a bunch of new activities and things to cook on. The hot shower was definitely a great addition as well. Of course the kids enjoyed playing on the row boat the most. One of my favorite hip camp sites and we will definitely be back again next year!

This spacious tree farm is gated, perfect for camping with kids and dogs. Our group consisted of 20+ people including 8 kids and 4 dogs. We set up a huge RV by the kitchen, a popup off one of the main paths, a camping van plus 3 tents in the clearance by the upper pond and two tents in the meadow by the lower pond. Even then, there was so much ground left to explore and ponds to fish.
The owner, Greg, is awesome to work with -communicative, and patient. The camp host Dewey is considerate and respectful of campers, making daily rounds to empty garbage and stock up firewood.
So much fun to be had here. There are 2 ponds, a rowboat, a rec room, a huge fire pit, a bike rack full of bikes and lots of space to run. 4 port-a-potties and a camp hot shower are available. Shower has great pressure too.
Our group did visit a river a few mins drive away and had a lot of fun there too
Overall, we absolutely love this spot and will make this a yearly destination. #TeamBassickApprovedandRecommended
