Our 120 acres is adjacent to Shasta Trinity National Forest in the beautiful Cascade Range between Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta. It's a working ranch with tree farms, animals, hydroelectric power, sawmill, gardens, orchards, creeks, springs, trails, and our camp alongside Kosk Creek. We're 54 miles from Redding off of 299E, (about 1-1/2 hour drive). DO NOT TAKE ROAD 11 FROM THE NORTH, IT IS CLOSED! The last mile or so of the road here can be pretty rough, but on arrival, you'll know it's worth the trip! No Cell phone service available here, so it's the perfect opportunity to unplug. We do have a land line up at the house in case of an emergency. Also, if you really need it, WiFi is available at the house.

Creekside Family Lodge
Cabin in the Forest
We stayed in the Family Lodge cabin. It was clean, comfortable with plenty of dishes, cups and utensils. Everything worked, and the new heat pump heating & cooling worked well once we figured out the controls.

What an exceptional camping experience! I had a fabulous set up next to the creek, with the added benefit of a nearby waterfall from a culvert running into the creek. There is a pond with paddle boards, a pedal boat, and other toys available to use! Also a hot shower, access to an outdoor kitchen, and a flush toilet. All In a beautiful, secluded location . Absolutely wonderful

Will be returning!
We had a fantastic time here! We stayed in the Creekside Lodge, and it was rustic but had plumbing, electricity, and portable a/c units in the rooms that made a huge difference! The creek was very accessible, the property was gorgeous and Scott was very friendly and helpful! He even had a pizza night and came down and cooked all the campers pizza on the pizza oven! My kids had a blast on the pond with the paddle boards and paddle boat! The only thing to know is, there are a lot of wasps and hornets, but they kept to themselves, but we did find them in and out of the cabin. With that being said, we loved it and have every intention of returning for a longer stay! We didn’t go to the swimming hole, but made a day trip to Burney Falls, about an hour away.

Gorgeous site!
Nora and Scott’s Hipcamp is amazing. It’s on the beautiful Kosk River and surrounded by deep forest. The site is well-maintained and there are all the amenities you need- a community kitchen with refrigerator, shower and bathroom. The RV sites have electricity and non-potable water. The hosts provide drinking water to each site. Scott and Nora are super friendly and one night even hosted a pizza party in which they made homemade pizza over a campfire. It was great to meet the other campers and get to know Scott and Nora. There is a lot to do in the area. Incredible fly fishing, hiking, swimming, and if you’re up for a big day – you can explore Shasta or Lassen. The camp is dog friendly with dogs off leash. My teenagers said it was their favorite Hipcamp ever. I highly recommend it! We had an incredible time there.
