100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
Converted into my home over a decade ago, this bus served as my home until I bought this property in 2006, and it has since been the deluxe guest bus. It is very comfortable and comes with all the luxury one would expect in a cabin -- hot water, full kitchen, refrigerator, and queen bed. It should be noted however, that the ceiling is 6 foot high, and thus my not be suited to tall people! Also, there is a private toilet, but it is not inside the bus...instead it is a short jaunt from the front door. Also, I suggest bringing a flashlight and flip flops or some kind of easy on and off shoes, both for the bus and the bathroom jaunt. Built mainly from recycled and resourced second hand materials, the bus is a 1985 Chevy with a Detroit Diesel engine. Her interior was designed with the "live lightly on the land" aesthetic and all appliances were chosen because they work well with solar power, including propane fridge and oven/stove and wood stove. The bus can sleep kids up to 15 years of age and additional bedding is available -- however it is not "child-proofed" so probably not the best for a toddler. Furthermore, I'm willing to consider small dogs (15 lbs and under), but the bus will not accommodate bigger dogs. It's a pretty well furnished bus with a cozy vibe. The kitchen has enough in it to make some basic dishes. My partner and I had a great stay!

Return Trip to Bohemian Bus
This was our second stay at the bus, and it was just as we remembered it. Blake is a great, cordial host, and very available for information and recommendations. It is very close to the Mendocino coast, and a number of beaches and state parks along the way. The bus has a basic, simple kitchen (water and stovetop), along with a small fridge. The beds are fine, the wood stove is available to regulate the temperature, and having a shower and plumbed bathroom makes the stay quite pleasant. I would return again, and there can't be a better recommendation than that.

Unreal experience. The amount of care that has gone into making that place what it is blew me away. The bus felt deeply lived in but in the best way possible. Very homey. Can’t recommend any stronger.

With kids
What a beautiful, tranquil enclave in the middle of the woods. Nothing to hear but the birds and the trees, and a friendly community of artists and healers as hosts. This place is special - there’s something to discover in every corner, and the stars shine bright at night. The bus is super cool, plenty cozy, and loaded with artsy, funky relics and designs. We stayed there with our 9 year-old daughter, and it was the perfect amount of space. Thank you for your kindness and generous welcome, Blake! ❤️

Love the bus
My partner and I spend the weekend here and we LOVED our time! It was just the escape we needed! Blake is incredibly kind! Highly recommend this stay!
