Come play with us, come to reconnect with real, come find yourself, come lose yourself. We invite you to recreate in our Tahoe Forest sanctuary. Unplug, enjoy the 20 hole disc golf course, play on the awesome RC car track, mountain bike on the popular Pioneer Trail accessible from the property, kayak, hike, hammock, garden, stargaze in the Shambala garden, have tea in the Asheville garden, 2 cold plunge options, outdoor shower in the garden, outdoor living room with movie nights under big trees, sit on the deck over the creek, sign up for Paleo cooking courses, neurographic art classes, manifesting and more! Mountain bike skills coaching by professional coaches upon request. If you desire reconnection with yourself and/or your partner or family, you'll find the space for nature baths, earthing and grounding in the big trees and gardens at Birdsong. Guests have called Birdsong Retreat the best adult summer camp ever, while also being a superbly peaceful place to hear the birds and frogs, and see stars, far away from city lights. Play, relax, reconnect. Bring your own camping gear, or let us pamper you with plug and play accommodations ready when you arrive. Available for a fee, depending on equipment desired. Kayaks and RC cars avail to rent. We are new to HipCamp but have been hosting events and campers for years. Check our website for testimonials. Birdsong has been the scene of many festivals, up to 75 people. Concerts under the trees are magic! We can provide lighting, first class sound, liquid light shows, and stadium quality bands. Site is under big trees with a view of the garden back gate. Relax in the comfy Adirondack chairs and experience the magic of this special space. Just below the number one target on the disc golf course, protected by a wall of huge logs, the space is a five minute walk to the outdoor shower in the garden, and a two minute walk to a regularly maintained porta potty. There are no hook ups at this site, but guests have access to portable water in the community area 24 hours a day. You are welcome to bring your own camping gear for this site or make your trip effortless and use our equipment. Camping package, including tent, air mattress, bedding, and basic camping necessities available as a package deal for $40 a night. Enjoy the 20 hole disc golf course, bring your RC cars, kayaks, bikes, and hiking shoes. We also have cornhole and badminton. This space can be reached by a light duty, 4 x 4 car or guests can park elsewhere and use the cart to get to the campsite. It is readily available to parking.

Our Tennessee red site is easily accessible and can accommodate car camping, a camper van, or a pocket size trailer. It’s near the gravel driveway with almost no traffic. It’s a short five minute walk to the outdoor shower in the garden and steps from a regularly maintained porta potty. Just down the driveway, you’ll find the communal patio with barbecue and dishwashing station. Bring your own camping gear or treat yourself to an effortless trip and use our equipment. Tents available for $40 a night and include the tent, air mattress, bedding, and basic camping necessities. Please see the main listing and our website for more detailed information. We have a total of 6 sites to choose from. These are all RV or Tent sites, which means you can pick and choose what you decide to show up with. All sites are primitive, and we do offer porta-pottys. These sites are flat and fairly level. No campfires allowed, no propane powered firepits. We do offer a BBQ on the patio in the communal space. We live in a high fire area, no fires allowed. We will provide hand and dishwashing stations, as well as potable water. Well behaved dogs are welcome, on leash, but please check with me first.

Interesting camp spots amid deep forests, very close to county roads, trails and local spots. Very friendly hosts who go above and beyond to provide as needed. Travel trailer access is tight- double check with hosts on sizing. Had to cut our trip short and wish we had more time to explore.

I went with my 2 boys who are 11 and 14 and they had a blast! The host was very friendly and welcomed us upon arrival. Wifi worked, kids loved exploring, trampoline and throwing a few discs. It was a beautiful location and we will definitely be coming back again!!

We loved camping on Leslie’s property! She made a rad disc golf course (closed toe shoes recommended if you’re not a great thrower and you often have to chase down your disc). The porta potty was the cleanest I’ve ever used. It was really beautiful and peaceful! We used the grill every meal. Leslie made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond for us! We highly recommend this Hipcamp!

I had a wonderful stay at Leslie’s property! She was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The property itself is beautiful, the herb garden in the evening is especially peaceful and all lit up with a gazebo area to sit. There is also a nice outdoor shower in the garden to rinse off after hiking.
