My daughter and I had the best time. The photos really don't do the site justice. It's beautiful, the forest is truly magical, and with so many different cools swings and string lights. Julie and Ray were such warm hosts, showed us around, built us a fire, and even share some history about the site. We hope to go back again and again.

The Worst Campsite Ever

We booked the Bella Friends/Family Site - Site 3/4 ten days prior to our camping date. Since we don't own much camping gear, we carefully chose and booked a site that provided a tent and chairs, and we even confirmed that these would be available for us to use. They assured us it would be. However, upon arrival to check in on the day of our reservation, we were told that we could no longer use the site we had booked. The reason? The family who stayed there the previous night decided to extend their stay by one more day. We were shocked to learn that despite booking ten days in advance, our reservation was canceled simply because someone extended their stay a day before. They offered us another site, but it had no tent, no chairs—just an empty plot of land. We repeatedly asked why we, who had booked first and paid in full, were being denied our site, but they only responded with an offer of a refund. Due to this outrageous situation, we ended up wasting our precious weekend. We will never re-visit to this campsite, and we strongly advise others considering a visit to be aware of this issue. Even if you book in advance, there's a chance you won't get to use the site you reserved! We highly recommend avoiding this place—your weekend is too valuable.

Beautiful space, hosts were great, the complementary breakfast was delicious! Loved all the amenities like the fire pit, hammocks, chairs, outdoor shower and grill, as well as kitchen and bathroom indoors. Loved meeting Bella too 🐕

This place is something else! Beautiful magical environment and lovely unexpected accommodations by the hosts they make and extra effort to make you feel at home. There is a beautiful hike around the area and so many beautiful nested lounge spaces around the property to feel as if you are in an enchanted realm, surrounded by the big redwoods giants! Julie and Ray are stellar!!

The walk to the ocean lookout and proximity to the general store was really nice. Loved all the trees and the location was great, was a 30 minute drive from the ocean.

Nestled in the Redwoods

This is actually a review for the redwood valley site as I switched sites last minute to accommodate my larger tent. First for the pros: I have an RBM Koala 7 Inflatable Hot Tent for 10 persons, and it fit perfectly at this site. There was plenty of space to set up an outdoor kitchen, and the site has a personal fire pit. You are nestled among the redwoods and the hosts of the site are lovely and very friendly/accommodating. You have everything you could need near your site: Communal Fridge/Kitchen (washing dishes here was a godsend), shower/toilet, and the host serves continental type breakfast in the morning for all guests. Beautiful blue jays visit your site and there are great hikes nearby (10 min driving). Now for the cons, but I wouldn’t say they are cons , just things to take into consideration if these things matter to you: 1) While you are nestled in the trees, you are technically in the hosts backyard. Your site will be next to other cars, and if you are trying to truly escape other people than this is probably not the right site. That being said, it didn’t bother us at all really. It’s still such a beautiful spot. 2) IF you are allowed at the time to host a campfire, you have to wait until it is dark. They are not allowed during the day as the neighbors complain. Campfires are not guaranteed, it depends on firebans etc. We were lucky and were able to host a campfire during our stay. Like I said, I don’t want to call these cons, more considerations. We loved it!

I loved it. It was a special paradise for my wife and my anniversary. She gave us a glamping tent with a real bed. It was very romantic! The blanket was even shaped like a heart. Our little dog loved it too!

Exceptionally beautiful and unique property. The hosts are incredibly friendly and knowledgable about the area. Sleeping under these redwoods was best sleep my husband and I had during our week long road trip! The morning we left, we were treated to a delicious homemade breakfast, while soaking in the views on the second floor balcony. We highly recommend camping here!

My boyfriend and I spent our 1 year anniversary here and Julie & Ray made it so special for us! They were very hospitable, welcoming, and accommodating. They showed us around and made us feel comfortable. The nature was gorgeous and the spot that it was in was private and tucked in. We hiked and Bella took us to the trail she usually goes on. I will definitely recommend this to my family & friends and i look forward to coming here again myself!

Hidden gem with the kindest hosts!

We absolutely loved our camping experience at Bella's land. Not only is the campground filled of hidden gems, like little hammocks, nooks, and outdoor cooking & lounging spaces, but the hosts were sweet enough to cook breakfast for those staying at the campgrounds every morning. And they don't skimp on these breakfasts! - We're talking sausage croissants, peach french toasts, and more. It's a little community of different camp sites on the property so it also facilitates a nice communal living experience. Super dog friendly and we loved meeting everyone on the campground - humans and animals alike :)

The creek site was so unique, quiet and I loved every minute of it. It’s a very special place. The hosts, Julie and Ray, are very kind and welcoming. It was lovely to chat with them. The site was way smaller than we expected-- when we saw that it would fit a 6.5 x 8 tent, we figured that would be with room for camping chairs. That was not the case. The spot was pretty much only big enough for a tent. Additionally, the site is listed as private. It's not really. While it is away from other camp sites, it overlooks a fairly busy trail through the property, and for the short time we were there, people walked through it several times. Finally, the treck down to the spot is dangerous. It's an extremely steep dirt downgrade (although portions are stone). On the stone portion, some of the stones are loose. Overall, I would absolutely not recommend this spot. Pros-- the host was communicative, and the indoor facilities looked nice. Disclaimer- we ended up not staying the night due to the aforementioned issues, so I can't really say anything to the experience of staying at the site.

The campsite was amazing, with lots of shade, and the hosts were super friendly. We used the bbq grill and outdoor shower, and had breakfast at the house in the morning, and everything was great. As stated in the listing, it is a bit of a hike from your car to your tent; we didn’t mind, but be aware. Overall, 5 stars out of 5!

Beautiful serene sight in the redwoods. The hosts were really amazing and accommodating, even brought us breakfast to our campsite . This is not a place if you just want to drive up and start camp. You will be carrying your things up or down trails to get to your camp spot. Each campsite is really unique. Also near to Alice’s restaurant which is a great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Lots of amenities coffee, tea , breakfast, use of the main house kitchen and bbq grill. Very accommodating to pets and off leash acceptable.

This is literally the coolest place on the planet. The hosts are amazing!! The atmosphere and cries are breathtaking. I really can’t say enough. My kids wanted to live there forever. An absolute must stay!!!

Our host were very welcoming. The property has a house that the host uses as a communal living B&B. The kitchen is fully stocked and available. Breakfast is provided (food is pretty incredible). There are also grills on the patios of the house and the restroom is in the house. I would recommend packing very minimal since most of the sites are a bit of a trek from where you park your car. A wagon wouldn't help because you're basically hiking down the mountain to get to your campsite. which is part of the experience! The Campsite sort of felt like what Gorilla nesting looks like in movies. Overall very cool experience. My 4 year old and 2.5 year old had a great time hiking, checking out all the banana slugs, and throwing rocks in the creek. They also loved playing with the instruments in the home.

Julie and Ray were super friendly hosts! The site was beautiful and serene—we especially loved the swing and fire pit. The cabin is so cozy and breakfast was an incredible treat! We would highly recommend staying here.
