7 Sunset Bluff
Sunset bluffs is a great location. The site was easy to find and nicely set up. There is a composting toilet on site (no water so no flush). Lots of great places to set up camp. Solar powered lights make it easy to find the paths at night. There is a well and shower but you need a generator to access the water. We brought our own water for drinking and cleaning dishes and it worked great.
There was lots of space for our dogs to roam around. We enjoyed building a camp fire at night and using the fire to cook our meals. There is a propane stove on site if you prefer cooking that way or you can bring your own stove.
Not far from the camp site is the bullmastiff brewery. Great place for drinks and the food was great too. We wanted to watch the UW vs. Oregon football game and they were nice enough to put the game on for us. There was enough signal at the campsite to stream the game but it wasn't great quality. ATT had 2 bars of 5GE. Version has 1 bar.
Highlights included being able to build a camp fire and have our dogs off leash. These two perks are not very common in campsites in California.

We LOVED having this 20 acre campground to ourselves for our annual family & friends camping trip. It was a great location and perfectly accommodated our large group. It was definitely an elevated experience in compared to our normal state campsite trips. We LOVED the Clean and private bathroom and the heated shower was awesome after days at the lake.This site gives the feel of being super secluded & private while being just a 5 min drive from dollar general and the Englebright marina - which was clutch when we ran out of ice! We enjoyed smores each night at the two fire pit areas while checking out the gorgeous sunsets. It’s was the perfect getaway spot we'll definitely be back!

It was a tent camp.
The entrance to the vast grounds is gated and secure. Fortunately or unfortunately, the days were over 100 F, but we enjoyed the evening breezes and a bonfire with our kids. If you run out of anything, there is a "Dollar General" about a 5-minute drive away. We also went to Englebright Lake, Scotts Flat Lake, and South Yuba River State Park to escape the heat.
I would recommend this campground to everyone for the variety of places you can go and play.
The only important thing I forgot was the generator, but I brought a lot of water, so it wasn't a big problem.
Hopefully, by the next time we come back, there will be a place to play with mountain bikes.

We booked this location to get away from it all. It was everything promised and more! The sites are far enough from one another as to be private. The views unbelievably heavenly. We ran into a challenge upon arrival but Tyler was there by phone to help us figure things out.
Sadly our stay was shortened by extreme heat (108) and illness but we will be back in cooler months. Thank you Tyler!

Tyler’s land is the perfect spot! Had a great experience with more than you could ask for! The lights and multiple fire pits were nice surprises, but the views were definitely the best part!

Really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Bluff! We booked a falconry experience at West Coast Falconry 30min away and Tyler's place was an ideal location to camp nearby.
There was tons of space on the property with lots of amenities. The outhouse was so clean and easy to use. The lot we parked our van at created natural shading for us to lay out on a picnic blanket! My son and I spent a lot of time climbing the nearby boulders. The sunset was absolutely stunning! This would be a great spot to camp with multiple groups of people to get together, including dogs and kids. Will definitely come back and stay again!

Great simple private space to Camp and Chill.
Perfect spot for people who just want the basic necessities for a good camp. Loved how they set it up! Very well thought out and convenient 🤙🏼

Tyler’s spot is great. We only had the chance for a quick overnight but would definitely stay again and hopefully longer. The Sierra foothills scenery is gorgeous.

Tyler’s place was amazing! You can tell that he really cares about putting together a real refuge. The campsite was well thought out and put together. Lights to feel like you won’t get lost at night and a really nice bathroom with a shower! The spot is really great for groups with such a large space and multiple flat areas for tents. The location was great! Close to both the river and the lake.
Just note to bring your own shade as there isn’t much natural shade on the property.

This property is fantastic! Extremely well appointed, secluded, beautiful views, has good cell service. Just a short drive to Nevada City and the best of Yuba River.
We camped there alone, no one else was there and as I understand it currently, it’s structured for one camping party. I may be wrong about that. Perhaps in the future they plan to section out specific sites for different parties, but there would be ample space for doing so.
Tyler is an attentive host and communicated well.
