Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Escape to a private creekside campsite on Little Piney Creek, just north of Hagarville, Arkansas. This shaded campsite offers a peaceful setting with a beautiful swimming hole, easy car access, and direct access to nature right at your doorstep. The property borders the Ozark National Forest to the west, giving you the feeling of a secluded mountain retreat while still being conveniently close to local attractions and supplies. Spend your days swimming, relaxing by the creek, floating downstream from nearby access points, or exploring some of the best scenery in the Ozarks. Located near Hwy 123 and CR 5550, you’ll be close to popular spots like Union Schoolhouse, Bub’s Cabin, Beaver Slide, Pilot Rock, Pam’s Grotto, and countless hiking and off-road trails—far more than you could cover in a single weekend. The campsite is family-friendly and includes a slide and swing set for kids, plenty of shade, and room to spread out and enjoy the outdoors. Pets are welcome off-leash as long as they are friendly and under control. You’ll also be only about 10 minutes from the Hagarville grocery store and Skyking Pizza for supplies or a quick meal. Located at Hwy 123 and CR 5550. The playground is great when for when you need to occupy the kids but can’t watch them in the water. The first swimming hole is generally 5/6ft deep and the second just above the rapids are only about 2-3ft for children. Located at hwy 123 and cr5550.

Shady Camp on Little Piney Creek
We loved camping here! Very private, peaceful and beautiful .The water is cool and clear great for swimming and floating all day in the heat . We sat by the water in the morning shade with our coffee and watched deer drink from the creek and a blue herring skim the water. The kids loved the swings and exploring the creek. Truley a little slice of heaven . We cant wait to visit again soon!

I just got back this weekend and I'm still processing how incredible this experience was. Coy is an absolute treasure of a human being — communicative, warm, and genuinely excited to share his little slice of paradise. You can tell this isn't just a transaction for him. That kind of hospitality is rare. The campsite sits right along Little Piney Creek with a stunning swimming hole — crystal clear water, sandstone ledges, and a gorgeous Ozark mountain backdrop. Falling asleep to the sound of the creek moving through the hollow was pure peace. We walked the creek corridor up toward Highway 123, following the water to the bend, and found the most beautiful natural waterfall. The sandstone shelves, the bluff walls, the light hitting the water — breathtaking. The property borders the national forest, so exploring up-creek opens into endless wild terrain. Trails, hollows, ridges — you could spend a week here and not cover it all. We will absolutely be back and staying longer. Coy, thank you for sharing this incredible place. You're the real deal. 🙌

Shady Camp on Little Piney Creek
I highly recommend this camping spot. I stayed for two nights in my jeep and couldn’t have asked for more. Coy’s directions were clear, the camping spot itself is beautiful, spacious, and secluded. The river access is also incredibly beautiful. I’ll be back as soon as I get the chance!
