A little about this camp, This property is a 100+-year-old homestead located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains, surrounded by the Ozark National Forest. The old main home is still standing right by the camp, with an old barn behind it. Across the road, there is another old barn and a cellar house. (We kindly ask that no one enter any buildings on the property.) This site is perfect for families or groups of friends who want to set up their trailers or vans around a common area. There are four 30-amp hookups and one 50-amp hookup near the meter pole. Wi-Fi and electricity are available on site, but there are no water hookups. There are endless opportunities for fun with several attractions close by—and many more not listed. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or planning to hike or float the river, this property is conveniently located near it all. • 1.5 miles to the Ozark Highlands Trail • 2 miles to the Little Mulberry River • 4 miles to the Mulberry River • 10 miles to the historic Oark Café • 10 miles to Byrd’s Adventure Center The property is located on a dirt road, which can be steep and rough when approaching from the south during certain times of the year. 4x4 vehicles are recommended during wet, muddy, or snowy conditions. Approaching from the north offers a smoother route, though it involves a longer stretch of dirt road.
