Absolutely love this place every time!
We always spend a lot of time on the dock and really appreciate the privacy this site has to offer! My only complaint is the insane amount of ticks, bring deet!!

This is a great spot. It wasn’t too hard to find the site. Not completely secluded but far from people. Clean and very well shaded.

This secluded spot was so perfect for the reset we needed! Large clearing for tents/canopies, huge fire pit, and spectacular wildlife viewing! A little challenging to drive stakes into the ground, but we managed! We absolutely loved being able to swim at the dock, and the water was incredibly clean! It is a short a walk from the main camp area down to the dock, so good shoes are worth packing! Rocky Branch Corp of Engineers park is a short drive, and with purchase of day use pass($5) you can use their bathrooms/showers/dispose of trash as well as refill water. Our first trip to Beaver Lake was amazing and we hope to stay at the Fresh Life camp again!!

I have camped here many times! This property is ideal if it’s warmer and you need a place to swim. The private covered dock is perfect for jumping and swimming without needing water shoes and the kids jump off of it all day. The sunrise and sunset are beautiful on either side of the peninsula that you have all to yourself! Don’t miss this place!

It was a great spot, very pretty. There was a huge log in the road. We contacted Danny regarding that and where to rent jet skis with no reply. Watch out for ticks!

Great location. Lots of shade for the tent and pretty easily walkable out to the rock peninsula beach. The GPS took us to a neighborhood that was not the correct location so if yours does that just do not go through the castle overpass thing. Also, the property is not marked with “campsite” in any way. It’s marked with signs that say private property no trespassing so that’s pretty confusing. It’s the woods so this is to be expected but there were more ticks than I’ve ever seen at a campsite. Bring SO MUCH bug repellant. If you think you brought enough, bring more.

But seriously, everyone should experience camping here. Hands down the best hipcamp spot I've stayed at.
A MUST BOOK.
It feels like having your own private peninsula.
No matter where you pitch your tent, you're overlooking the lake.
Plus, there are beaches and quiet coves on both sides. One side boasts a swimming dock with a sundeck and a beach right next to it, perfect for your furry friends to swim alongside you. (Would be great for kids too).
On the other side, it's the ideal spot for catching breathtaking sunsets and launching your SUP board or kayak.
A couple of non issue things to note: Don't forget to do tick checks – despite our dogs having flea/tick meds, one still got absolutely covered in ticks (while the other didn't even get one). Also, heads up about the very steep paved road leading down to the dirt road, but compact cars can still handle it without any issues. So drive safe!
Bottom line: Privacy, peace, tree coverage, water access, and excellent layout for tent spots makes this the perfect campsite.
I'm already planning my next trip back as soon as I can.

The directions were super easy to follow. The camping spot was clean and surrounded by water. We had zero issues with bugs, ticks or nuisance animals. Would definitely stay again!

This is hands down our favorite camp spot on the water. It’s secluded enough for the kids and dogs to roam free and the lake access means that we play the day away. Spring and summer camping here is a MUST!
The only improvement would be to include a composting toilet, a proper picnic table. and notes on where the best place to find wood is.

Spacious site with some privacy despite being on a peninsula. Deer were everywhere and the lake is beautiful. Only stayed one night, but would love to come back in summer. The best part was that the fire was warm for us when we arrived late in evening on a cold November day. Much appreciated!!

I feel like we picked the perfect weekend at the perfect location. First weekend of Nov, no one was on the water, leaves were turning, it was quiet and secluded and beautiful. Highly Recommend Danny’s spot!

Had fun, but was very near a marina and other houses- not as private as we expected. Music from a neighbor was playing late into the night. It was nice to have lake access and a dock. The bench and picnic table were essentially falling apart and badly sagged if you sat anywhere other than over the supports. One of the picnic table seats was missing one of two planks. Probably wouldn’t stay again, but it could have been worse.

Danny's land is a great, private getaway. The space is large enough for a couple of tents. My husband and I went just as the trees began to turn for autumn and it was beautiful. There were a few deer watching us set up the tent. Not too much noise other than the occasional boat but being in a no-wake zone they were quite. We took it morning walk on the shore around the peninsula and said hello to a couple of early fisherman. Other than that there was no one around. Danny was kind and quick to respond when we needed to ask questions. I'd definitely like to go back in the late spring to appreciate the water and boat dock.

What a beautiful and private primitive tent site with lots of areas to explore! We adventured with our dog and baby piglet and they loved the freedom and we felt secure with their safety from any wild critters! We're already looking forward to our next visit and plan to share this beautiful space with some camping friends :-) Directions to site are clear and helpful, be sure to read the directions shared by the host. What an absolute gem, we will be back for sure! Such a private space, with our own beach and covered dock on beaver lake! A great place to rent for the day to hang out and swim, especially if you have a boat. The site was clean and the communication from the host was clear.

This spot became my favorite spot on Earth this weekend. Its secluded, we didn’t have to leave the site, and the rocky beach area had swimming for everyone. We loved how it had shallow to deep areas to play, as well as a quick drop off in another spot to dive into, AND a dock for jumping off! Words and pictures can’t explain the scenic views around the lake as you swim with a sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening. The campsite is perfect and nicely cleared for tents and has a fire pit and picnic table. We could see our kids swimming (with life jackets) from the camping area as we set up and took down camp, and the lake surrounds the campsite on 3 sides. It was the quiet, primitive experience we were looking to have!

My group really enjoys the absolute privacy of this spot. Those of us that fish love the access to the water and all of us love the size of the spot. There’s plenty of space to setup tents and not be on top of each other. That’s a really great thing!

This is the second year I’ve used Danny’s land to summer camp with my family (teenagers and a 4 year old). My sister brings her family and we have the best time here. There’s so much for children and adults of all ages to do. I cannot recommend a better place to camp. It’s seclusion but close accessibility to Rogers is what keeps me coming back. There’s ample space to set up tents. The dock is so much fun to be on during the heat. The water is clean and refreshing. Everything is dog friendly. The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking. I plan on coming back every year that Danny let’s us. Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven with us. ❤️
