PLEASE bring any of your own needed amenities that you will need, THANK YOU!! L's Branching Willow Estate welcomes you to pitch your tent, hang up your hammock, select a spot to grill if you have one or set a picnic area of your choice!! Why not listen to the music playing while the kids have a blast catching minnows in the nearby creek( if the weather hasn't dried it out!! As the sun sets and relaxation settles in for your peaceful sleeping, wake up to the serene beauty of early morning tweets under the soft morning sunrise as all of nature sings!. It is a perfect place to infuse your life with sunshine, sunset in tranquility! Pets are allowed!! I apologize about the late outcome, but My land/ campsite areas are still undergoing needed upkeep, however you are still more than welcome to come enjoy a camping retreat!!

Hello to my fellow Hipcamper!! There is over 9 acres of beautiful wooded mountainous land with walking trails, creeks, and even beautiful waterfalls and swimming areas near by!! This area is great for 4wheeling, dirt bikes and so much more!! The water is next to the Office which is right off the main road!! Plenty of wildlife to listen to and enjoy!! This is definitely the camping site if you want to sit back and relax after enjoying so much vacation fun!!

it's really a perfect spot to experience Austin The neighborhood itself is pretty walkable. The honky tonk Sagebrush is a few blocks away, and the Neighbors dog park cum cafe is also close and fun to visit. The vibe in the camp is truly wonderful

The property as it is did not have many spaces to camp. I believe they are new and are trying to improve the camp. No facilities. Bring a 4x4 if you hope to camp on top of the mountain especially when it's wet.

L's Branching Willow Campsite
Overall we had an unpleasant experience. We stayed for 2 nights. On the second night there were 6 different parties staying on the property. We were told to camp "wherever". The ground was uneven and filled with rocks and overgrown grass. Lonnie had many of her family members visiting during our stay. There were many children, and they played most of the evening both days on her property screaming and laughing in earshot of our tent. One night a large group setup their tents and played music/talked loudly after hours. She listed her property as having a restroom, but we saw nothing and had to drive to the gas station down the street. Around a 10 min drive. No privacy with so many parties close together. We booked 3 nights but opted for a motel on the last night.

L's Branching Willow Campsite
My family enjoyed Ms. Lonnie's hospitality. She treated my family as if we were hers! The site was everything I expected. We experienced the totality of the eclipse overlooking the National Forest. I recommend Branching Willow for families that will love to introduce their children to semi primitive camping.
