I came with a group to do a test camp run for a larger trip later this year and the space was more than enough for a camper, three large tents, and three large canopies. The sky is gorgeous at night, the camping area is level and easily accessible, and the hosts were wonderful!
There are chicken houses nearby, so expect for a negligible amount of machinery noise overnight. Highly recommend and would love to return soon!

The Gravel Pad area is very flat and level. Great for trailers, vans, motorhomes. The hosts were above-and-beyond accomodating. A secluded place to camp in a beautiful part of Arkansas.

The Gravel Pad
We were able to take advantage of the cleared areas down the gas easement, and had a private spot between the pines that is better than most camp grounds.
The hosts could not have been more kind, attentive or accommodating, without being intrusive. Farm fresh produce available and highly recommended. We got some eggs which were better than anything we've ever bought from a grocery store.
We came in specially for the eclipse, and on our third / last night the hosts provided home made gyros and soup. Anyone considering a trip through this area should stop here!

Jennifer was an amazing host! Very helpful. Atmosphere was relaxed and family friendly. They had campsites that were in the open and close to other campers or in the trees and secluded.

Friendliest people you’ll ever meet. The land is beautiful and we had the best time. Very accommodating. Fresh eggs! Firewood for sale. Bring your own toilet 😂

Great boondock spot away from town

The Gravel Pad
Nice flat gravel and grass boondocking area off the beaten path and far away from the interstate, with friendly hosts Richard, Jennifer, and Stephanie. Large open area with room to spread out. It was a perfect setup for eclipse watching. Hosts had food and helped folks out with things they needed.
Good dark skies for star gazing. Some traffic on the 2 lane road, so not completely quiet, but pretty peaceful place.

We made last minute reservations to view the eclipse and were very pleased with the location. Wide open flat area with about 6 other groups and not at all too crowded. We bought 6 delicious home made tamales, some muffins and a jar tomato jam from the owner, Stephanie. Her sister Jennifer and her husband Richard kindly greeted us when we arrived after midnight. I highly recommend this HipCamp.

The best part of my stay (other than the beautiful eclipse weather) was the hosts. The campsites were private, very quiet and a pretty. The hosts were engaging and I spent much time talking to them and learning about the history of the land and the area. They had fresh eggs, ice cold raw milk, muffins and for lunch, the best tamales I have ever tasted!

A quiet spot to camp, with a fantastic host! They even provided firewood and helped build stone fire rings. They went out of the way to make all campers comfortable and welcome.

The Gravel Pad
We had a fantastic solar eclipse experience at the gravel pad. The host spent time with us to help pick out a great site for viewing. They also used a tractor to smooth out the rocks for a tent site and loaned us some additional padding for below our tent. They also checked up on us to make sure we were ok. Super nice and friendly host. This place gets my highest recommendation.

I enjoyed tent camping here. The woods behind the pad have clearings cut for setup. There is a bit of space between the clearings, but still in ear shot. Nearby pond and a couple trails are accessible. The hosts check in occasionally and were very accommodating. I recommend a heavy ground tarp for stubble and thorns, and preparing for ticks, but nothing out of the ordinary for the Ozarks. Beautiful area!

We loved staying here. Jennifer and family were so welcoming and friendly. The space is quiet and peaceful. Excellent for stargazing and hanging out. Would recommend as a destination or stopover. There is 5G Verizon cell service. Easy access and level parking for our van. Plenty of room for larger RVs and trailers.
