I left early due to flooding, which could happen to any campground. Also I had healed from an arthritis flat up so it was just time to get back to work. If you will pitch a tent, just keep in mind that heavy reasons might food the tent area. Other than that it's a great medium sized campground. You are camping next to a field where there is Frisbee golf. Restroom is close by and easily accessible. Nice view of the lake nearby. Cozy atmosphere overall.

The sites are under trees, so if it storms expect the limbs to fall somewhat. There isn't a lot of gravel on the sites so it is a little muddy. The person from the booking is not the person who is the host camper. You will be given a number on the booking but they will all from another number and then you have to call another number to reach the host.

Overall, it is a great park for those that want the true camping in the woods feeling. Great feature is being able to pick your site. The first site we chose had an open neutral issue so we did switch sites. Some of the residents/full timers have loose dogs. They seem friendly but may be a turn off for some families. Great location to a lot of hiking and dock on site for fishing. Be prepared for mud and mosquitos if there is any rain.

The biggest issues I have with Adventure RV is their post was very deceiving.
They have one shower/bathroom for all the sights.
Also they began mowing Saturday afternoon while we were attending a camp fire. A few sights away would have been fine. He mowed all around our sight, blowing grass right to us. The campgrounds were not full. Some permanent campers in there. More like trailer park.

The owner was super nice! The campsite was very busy during the eclipse and I’m glad they got a lot of business during that time. Such a beautiful stay and all the guests were so nice. I would definitely come back here.

Wow! What a fun event.
We drove the family in from Oklahoma along with many others to view the solar eclipse in totality.
We put out the fire, put the rocks up and made sure to pick up all the trash. I noticed there wasn't any litter on the ground and it seemed like folks were doing a really good job of keeping the place nice and clean. The bathroom did it's best for the volume of people that were there. Bathroom amenities were kept stocked throughout.
This was nothing short of a wonderful experience and I have nothing bad to say regarding the venue.

We made a quick trip here on our way through the state while traveling cross country. This was perfect for our little family and the Lake was an added bonus. Would definitely stop in again when in the area!
