Shalamar Farm is a great place to just chill and relax. Steve and Linda are great hosts and make sure your stay is enjoyable. Linda met us in the driveway and guided us to our site and made sure we got settled in. We enjoyed interacting with guests from the other campsites and especially listening to Linda tell the story of the history of Shalamar Farm and the origin of the name. We enjoyed meeting George and the cats. Our two small dogs felt right at home. We highly recommend Shalamar Farm for a peaceful getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shalamar farms. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and even got us connected with their neighbor so our young boys could pet their goats and see their chickens! Our boys loved it! We all enjoy the resident horse George and loved the fresh strawberries we got to pick from the garden! We plan on returning again!

Shalamar farms is a quiet, cozy and perfect place for camping with our 3 little boys. They loved riding their bikes down the long driveway and spending time with the most friendly and sweet resident horse named George and the two cats, Lowell and Leroy. We had a wonderful space to build a campfire and the best camp neighbors. We felt safe allowing our boys to run around the farm and explore. Our boys had a huge area to play soccer, corn hole and just run! They even had an area to dig with their construction trucks. There were plenty of shade trees and a vegetable garden we picked asparagus out of and made for dinner! We fully plan on returning soon for a nice relaxing weekend.

Staying at Shalamar Farm with Steve and Linda was wonderful. Finding their location was simple and easy. They maintain a wonderful and peaceful property that made me feel relaxed and comfortable. They were kind and welcoming while showing me around their site. I highly recommend checking out Shalamar Farm. It was the perfect place for me and my two dogs as we walked around to see George the horse or the vegetable gardens. I look forward to seeing Steve and Linda welcoming future campers as well as returning. Thank you!

Steve and Linda are incredible host. So friendly and helpful. Outstanding hospitality. The property is just as lovely as the two of them. Beautiful views and there is even a garden. We left to today with zucchini, cucumbers, onions and peppers. Thanks for a great two days. 10/10 would recommend. ❤️

Staying at Shade Trees at Shalamar Farm is like visiting the farm of long time friends. Steve & Linda are wonderful hosts, very friendly and very generous. What a difference from staying in a commercial campsite where you are cheek-to-jowl with several hundred other campers! Here you have a quiet shady spot with a lovely view of the surrounding farmland. Highly recommended as a restful campsite in central Indiana.

stayed over night on a return camping vacation going home, this is a vary quiet and peaceful country setting not more than 5 minutes off of hwy 65, with water ,electric hook ups, and dump capabilities . If i am in the area again I will definitely stay on future occasions. Steve & Linda also offer Home grown - Home made loaf of zucchini bread in two flavors
