In the beautiful Idaho countryside, our Inn is in the beloved year-round recreation hotspot called Heise-Kelly Canyon. We have a wide variety of rooms and sites. Including: 4 log cabins that sleep 4 in 2 queen log beds with mini kitchenettes, 3 sources of heat, and en suite bathrooms 4 Moonlight Cottages with AC and heat that sleep 5 or 6 in 2 queens plus one adult friendly twin (cottages B and D) or two kid-friendly twins bunked together (cottages A and C), mini-kitchenettes, and just a few steps away is the deluxe no-fee Loo-uvre Restroom and Shower House Two 20' diameter year-round yurts with themed decor-- each sleeps 4 in one queen and two twins with all bed and bath linens, plus a very well-stocked kitchen, and a firepit, pergola, picnic table and Char-griller charcoal BBQ outside. Camper trailer-- 16' vintage camper Little Buffy that sleeps 2 and has a mini-kitchenette and guests use the Loo-uvre Restroom/Shower House close by. New to the Lodge is Adirondack-style "The Bunkie" that sleeps 6 or 7 plus has a desk, microwave and fridge. All bed and bath linens are provided in all of our rooms. Firepits are a-plenty! Our Inn also has great tent sites, plus both 30 amp and 50 amp RV/Camper sites with water and electric, a firepit and picnic table each, plus a fee dump station. We are currently planning/building another shower/restroom house and a laundry mat. There is a fee dump station on site. With over ten acres of property to play at and stroll, your stay will be one of fun, peace and quiet. Our RV & Camp is fun! We have our famous Borrow Barn with loads of complementary activities including a 9 hole disc golf course with maps/disc/scorecards, free pedal boats, Little Free Library #69967, volleyball, tetherball, badminton, board games and more, plus our cruiser bicycles in our Bike Corral are for guests to enjoy on property also. Children must be watched always and very closely-- enjoy being with your children on the property. A beautiful Restroom and Shower House is fee free. We are located in the Heise-Kelly Canyon of southeast Idaho with fabulous sunrises and sunsets. We are very close to hiking, hot springs, rapelling, 200+ miles of ATV and SxS trails, golf, mini-golf, a driving range, skiing, ice cream parlor and two restaurants, and the mighty Snake River corridor right across the road. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes). Both routes are beautiful with waterfalls, gorgeous mountain views, and Idaho countryside. “Here We Have Idaho” Yurt Year Round

“Here We Have Idaho” — Has one luscious queen bed and two very comfy twin beds. All bedding provided. A/C in summer and awesome pellet stove in winter. Incredible recreation on site and very close by in our beautiful Idaho Canyon. The Idaho Yurt has a short walk on a bark-covered path from the parking space. Extra vehicles have no fee, but must be parked in the North Parking Area. The Loo-uvre Restroom and Shower House is a short walk away; there is no en suite bath in the yurt. Flashlight in yurt, posted inside on doorframe. Open year round, and Kelly Canyon Ski Hill is just 4 miles further up the canyon. Heise Hot Springs great facility is just up the road 1.2 miles, and is open year-round except the first three weeks of November. There are four steps to enter the yurt. The yurts are located on the far north end of the property-- north of our RV& Camp, and north of our Pond and log cabins. No office on site; we only run self check in. All complimentary for all guests: the Borrow Barn with indoor and outdoor activities, the Bike Corral, and the pedal boats on The Pond. Since opening in June 2020, our guests have loved everything about our unique, themed Moonlight Cottages. A slightly campy but very comfortable stay. Our four Moonlight Cottages were built by the Amish in Salmon, Idaho, and have fun themes and curated decor-- A:"Ananda" yoga bliss, B: "Hoot" campy, C: "Howdy" western, and D: "Schuss" ski. Each has a feature wall-- Ananda has a venetian plastered wall with a large Nigel May Photography "Teton Sunrise" picture, Hoot and Schuss have hand-painted paint-by-number full wall murals, and Howdy has a bark-on chinked log wall with a John Hart original oil painting. A retro microwave and a fridge, 2 luscious queen beds, plus 1 twin bed (A and C) or 2 twin beds bunked (B and D). Spacious and airy, the Moonlight Cottages have two sources of heat for cooler months, and A/C for the summer months. Cottage guests use the very close by Loo-euvre Restroom and Shower House with a well-lit short path from each cottage. The Cottage Courtyard has a picnic table and a charcoal/wood grill. Our Inn is on Butler Island, with the Snake River on one side and the Great Feeder Canal (formerly known as The Dry Bed which was the Snake's natural spring overflow for centuries). Hot springs facility, 9 hole golf, driving range, mini golf, XC and alpine skiing, hiking, world class fishing-- all very close by or within 4 miles. Orchard E is a larger back in RV site that can handle big rigs and it has 50 amp and water. It can also be used as part of The Orchard Tent sites for a group gathering— please give us a phone call. The Orchard Tent Sites are grassed sites mingled among a few fruit trees. This site is on the far north end of the property, with an adjacent beautiful cow farm (the farm is beautiful… but so are his cows!). We are in the Idaho countryside, at the mouth of a fantastic recreation canyon, and across the road from the Snake River corridor. Heise Hot Springs facility is just 1.2 miles further up the canyon road. This is an established lodging facility with a wide variety of rooms, rv sites and tent sites, and we have many amenities for your use; this is not a solitary field or a rustic camp. The Orchard Group Site can accommodate 6-8 tents depending on your tents’ sizes as well as two rigs in Orchard A and Orchard E. As a whole The Orchard Group Site is great for family reunions or group camps. If you are an individual, a couple, or a solo family unit, the best tent sites are The Poplars, Orchard B or C (for smaller tents), or Cottonwoods 1 or 2. If you need a quiet space or if you have individual request please contact us ahead of time. When we are informed of what your needs are we can accommodate. The Orchard is a fairly short walk to the fee-free restroom and shower house. The dishwashing station is north of the BBQ Pavilion, and a potable water spigot is south of the BBQ Pavilion— both a short walk from The Orchard. Each site comes with a firepit and a picnic table. The Children’s Play Garden is just across the little gravel lane. The Waterfront Tent Site is perfect for a solo tent guest or a couple, with a built-in firepit in the corner of the tent pad. Within inches of the Pond’s water line and reeds, 15x20 Waterfront easily accommodates a small to medium size tent. No children allowed in this tent site. Parking is on the opposite side of the gravel lane (marked with a sign "Cottonwood Tent Parking"), approximately 50’ away, or if you'd like to park tight along Waterfront you may. includes use of our no fee deluxe restroom and shower house that is not too far from Waterfront. Our deluxe no-fee Loo-uvre Restroom and Shower House is a welcome amenity to campers, and is a short walk from Waterfront. A bistro table and two chairs is positioned in the shade near the tent site. Awesome little cabin!

Moonlight Cottage B "Hoot"

What a great cabin for a deal!!! I was so surprised when I arrived to find what I thought was a small cabin was actually quite huge. The bed was super comfy and the room had coffee and tea, which was unexpected but so nice. The camp hosts and owner popped by to check in on me and everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Poplars Tent Site 1

My daughter and I camped at Poplar’s #1 in 2023 ! The camping experience was so lovely I decided to camp there again on my 2024 road trip. I was traveling alone this time and I felt safe and comfortable. The camp is well managed and the grounds are lovely. The bathrooms and showers were clean and accessible. I hope to camp here again in the future!

Sharon is awesome! She offered to upgrade us for free from a tent to a camper because it was raining and cold. It was a nice and cozy camper with a coffee maker and a heater. The shower facility is super nice and the water is warm. The communal space was not used by us (because of rain) but the kitchen area looked well equipped and maintained. Would definitely recommend!

Cottonwoods 2 Tent Site

We have stayed at this campsite twice. Very relaxed environment with several cabins around. Each time we’ve been there we were the only campers near by a cabin. Full, clean facilities for showering. No check in process… someone came around once to see who we were. A little weird to just park beside a grass patch but still a nice spot.

“Here We Have Idaho” Yurt Year Round

Stayed in the Idaho Yurt and the team running the site anticipated everything I might need (down to a hot plate to breakfast!) - staff are friendly, and definitely go the extra mile to make even a short stay like ours (we stayed one night) memorable. We will be staying there again and highly recommend them!

Moonlight Cottage A "Ananda"

Our family loved the Ananda cabin! The beds were very comfortable. We used the fire pit and hung out under the stars. We all also loved the ability to ride bikes around the property and the little paddle boat in the pond. If we’re ever in the area again, we’d definitely stay again!

Moonlight Cottage A "Ananda"

My family and our golden retriever loved our stay in the cozy cottage! It had all the essentials, a very clean bath house and toilets, and we loved the peaceful Aspen grove it is nestled in. The grounds were perfect for a nice stroll with the dog and kids after a day on the road. Highly recommend! Traveling with kids? Check out Aspen Grove Inn’s copy of “Blue Crab in a Red Desert” board book in the little free library on site. 💙 🦀♥️🏜️

Cute Lil Buffy 16’ Vintage Camper

This was a perfect stay for the two of us. The park is lovely and the bathrooms with showers are a bonus! Also there are cute little bunny’s running around everywhere!

Cottonwoods 5 Tent Site

Its well maintained but not a proper spot for camping. There is no shade nor the land is flat. Its right next to the road. So no calmness and vehicle lights kept bothering me. I was given CW 4 and had to park my car farther down the gravel road. Thats not how camping ⛺️ is supposed to be. It’s Moreover, when I tried to check in the site manager told that there are no spots and your spot is already given to someone else by the owner. Then I had to argue over it and finally they gave me some other spot. Overall the check in experience and campsites could be better and worth the $$$ being spent

Absolutely loved our stay here - everything was so clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were very clean and everything was as described, or better. We thoroughly enjoyed playing in the sand pit and teeter totter and going peddle boating on the pond. I can’t wait to come back!

The Moose Cabin was charming and had everything we needed. The grounds around the campground at magical and beautifully maintained. Our host met us when we arrived and we had a great stay!

We arrived late because our transmission blew and had to be replaced on the way- tried to contact host through hipcamp about it- no response. When we finally arrived, the host was incredibly hostile towards us, she was yelling and unhelpful. We were told we had no reservation, when she realized we did, then it was that we were late so we couldn't stay, then that our rig was too big for the spot, even though we're 32' and the advertised max length for it was 36', there is also no sewer even though full hookups are advertised-we were told the advertisement must be wrong. It felt like she was doing her best to make us feel unwelcome and unwanted. My husband had to beg for us to stay in an empty spot for the night (it was after 9:30) so that we could find somewhere else to stay (but someone else might drive up and want that spot during the night- even though we were already paid up). We felt incredibly uncomfortable with the host's behavior so we didn't even want to try to stay. The listed host/property owner has been unreachable.

I had to cancel our reservation just 6 days before our reservation. I cannot comment on the facility but I can say that Sharon was friendly and very helpful. I look forward to staying at Aspen Grove in the future.

Year Round Yurt "O Canada"

The Yurt was beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds, nice area to sit outside with a picnic table and grill. The property was immaculate with manicured green lawns. The bathrooms and showers were clean and nicely decorated.

I wish I could give a 10 star review! My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our stay at Aspen Grove. The facility was easy to find, very very clean, and felt like home the minute we arrived. There is so much to do on site it makes you not even want to leave. The bathrooms, which were a big concern of mine being that I was pregnant during our stay, were beautiful, private, and extremely clean. We had water and power hooked directly to our travel trailer and never had an issue with it. Our AC ran great on the few warm nights. We were able to dump our black tank on site for a small fee on the way out of the camp which was very convenient! Our campsite was clean and spacious. Our dogs had a great time and everybody we met on site was extremely kind and friendly. The location itself is amazing too and great for traveling. We were able to go visit all the museums in Idaho Falls, the zoo, the aquarium, the drive in motive theatre, Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park. There was a pool, hot springs, zip lining, golf, mini golf, ATV riding and a whole bunch else right around the corner. When we needed groceries we were maybe 15 minutes away from a store in Ririe. Truly can’t say enough good things. We will be coming back next year with both of our families! Big shoutout to the incredible camp hosts, Scott and Janell! They were beyond kind and understanding and were very flexible when we were having truck problems and needed to check our 1.5 hours late. Thanks!
