Staying at Gypsy’s Hipcamp was one of those experiences that makes a trip feel special. They were incredibly hospitable, welcoming, and kind, and by the end of our stay it truly felt like we had made new friends. The location is excellent if you want to explore Park City, Heber, and Midway, with great restaurants nearby, a market, a wonderful coffee shop, and a park all close at hand. It’s also only about five minutes from The Crater, which was a huge bonus. We would absolutely recommend this site to anyone looking for a friendly place to stay in a perfect spot for enjoying the area.

Van camping at Gypsy's place was great, very quiet. Receptive, nice and relaxed hosts. And a really nice shower to use! I would highly recommend!

Loved staying here! Was a great spot to crash for the night. Gypsy and her husband were very welcoming and accommodating. They had a little heater and blankets set up for me that worked great.

Owner's super nice and friendly. Cute lil backyard for camping. Near some gorgeous mountains and hiking. Didn't get to walk around town but just driving through it felt like it was straight out of a Hallmark movie - quaint and cute!

Perfect for a campervan! Midway was adorable- worth the detour, only wish I could have stayed longer. I needed a safe place to stay for an evening while driving back from dinosaur national monument to Portland. Gypsy's place was absolutely perfect- safe, secure, easy to find. The shower and full bathroom access was a major bonus after 4 days on the river. The property was adorable and I easily could have spent several days here relaxing and exploring the area. I hope to be back!!

Exactly what we were looking for. Easy and very fairly priced. Quiet little backyard with access to a cool fire pit which we took full advantage of! Chicken coop, and some cool old rides and campers to stare at. Nice and flat for our tent. Very good communication and info from the host. Highly recommend.

Overall this is a cute spot, and Gypsy is a very welcoming host. It is walking distance to most shops and restaurants in town. It wasn't as private as I expected because the part of the yard where the campers are is open to multiple homes in the neighborhood. Also this area is very exposed to the sun, and it would have been nice to have a shady spot to move my chair to.

Perfect place to spend the night in Midway. Right in town, but very quiet and peaceful. Hosts are generous to offer the use of their bathroom and shower in their house!

Vintage Vinny. A 1957 beauty
We stayed in Vintage Vinny and had a wonderful time; nice set-up in the back yard and the fire pit was great. Very relaxing and Gypsy was super nice and chill. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our little weekend stay at Gypsy's place. She was quick to call us back when we had a question. I loved the chickens. She showed us her fabulous projects that she is working on with the property. They even gave us some farm fresh chicken eggs for our Sunday breakfast. When we head back up that way we will definitely want to come and see the new fence and the finished rehabs. I love that we are able to connect with people who are willing to share their space. Our next adventure awaits.

This was a perfect little stop on our way through town. Gypsy & Brian were very accommodating and kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We got to play with their cute dogs and watch the chickens run around their pen. Nothing fancy but it did the job! Will most likely stay again as we come back through! Thanks guys!

This was such a fun experience. This property is located just a couple blocks from the center of Midway but once you were there it felt like you were on a remote farm complete with chickens and multiple fruit trees.
They have a few retro campers and an old school bus (where I stayed) that you can rent, or set up your own camp.
I loved the chickens and the beautiful mountain views.
The hosts were very pleasant and gave me lots of fun recommendations of places to visit and eat.
I wish I had planned to stay longer . I will absolutely be back when I pass through again.

Really sweet hosts and a nice spot away from the road. Especially LOVED getting to pick some eggs from their beautiful hens (the bantams!!) in the morning. Cute fire pit with fairy lights and fruit trees. Loved getting advice on where to drive next and where to go hiking. Great burgers around the corner at Lola’s (walking distance, excellent salads and sweet potato fries too) but also saw a cute pizza garden across the street that we will try next time. Dog friendly - they have their own pooches too! Would recommend. Do note there is no bathroom but if your camper lacks one there is a gas station a block or so away.

Kerri is So Nice! And easy to work with.
The location couldn’t be better! Right on Center St. 1.5 blocks to Midway Main Street. A short 5 min. drive to Soldier Hollows Golf course and 20 mins to Park City. Fun camp area with chickens, two dogs, and a nice fire pit area. Nice sunset with a view of the Timpanogos Mountain. I will definitely stay there every time I come to Midway UT.
