Are you on your way to Yosemite and hoping to camp along the way, but need a safe, quick, and easy place to stay? This is your place! I offer a safe, quiet overnight refuge for solo car campers, self-contained small RVs (30 ft max), camper vans, trucks with rooftop tents, and tent campers. I travel solo myself, and safety is my top priority. Evening Star Retreat is perfect if you need a safe, secure place to simply stay overnight while traveling to or from Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, and Kings Canyon National Park. This site is secluded and quiet, offering a large area of gently rolling natural landscape with tall pines, old black oaks, live oaks, old-growth manzanita groves, and many granite boulders. There is wildlife here day and night! Rabbits, squirrels, gophers, and lots of quail call this area home. You will likely see the resident ravens, hear the morning doves, and catch glimpses of chubby quail darting around as the area grows quiet. Deer move through here, along with other mountain critters such as coyotes, bobcats, bears, skunks, and more. I have neighbors on three sides of my property who live here full-time, so respecting their privacy and maintaining our peaceful solitude is very important to me. It can be very dark here after sunset, and there are no lights at this site. Please keep your campsite dimly lit, and bring headlamps and/or flashlights.

Sun Rise Camp: A safe, quiet overnight location that is easy to drive in and out, especially if you are heading into Yosemite with the rising sun! There is 1 site at this camp. My property is specifically designed to be a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for solo women campers, mothers with young children, senior travelers needing a safe, welcoming, and reliable place to spend the night or a few days while visiting Yosemite. We are located in a protective, tight-knit rural neighborhood with visible property fencing, a glimpse of a neighbors home, maybe even a neighbor. Strict Site Safety Rules (No Exceptions): Absolutely no campfires, fire pits, or open flames of any kind are permitted on the property at any time. This includes charcoal grills, candles, or tiki torches, etc. Please do all cooking and smoking inside your private vehicle. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited anywhere on the campsite or property due to extreme local wildfire hazards. Please only smoke inside your vehicle. Sun Rise Camp is the perfect easy-in, easy-out stopover for self-contained campers arriving before dark and heading out early with the morning sun. We are at an accessible 3200-foot elevation which offers a gently rolling, low-mowed natural grass meadow, framed with large old oaks, pines, brush, and manzanita groves. This campsite is best used by campers and rigs that do not require bathroom facilities.

Sun Set Camp is a good option for you if just need an easy, convenient, safe place to stay overnight in your vehicle or tent. My personal RV is next to this site and you will have private access to the restroom, shower, and kitchen (coffee maker, toaster, fridge, microwave, coffee condiments, and all utensils while you are here.

Sun Rise Camp
Arlyne was a super cool host she went out of her way to make us feel at home, her place is super clean and is private from the residence which made it feel that much more relaxing, when we are up in the area we will definitely be staying with Arlyne thanks again!
