This is grain bin glamping. Expect it to be like camping except for not in a tent.. there is power enough for lights and to power your devices. The temperatures are the same as inside a tent. I have 2 bins available that sleeps 2 each. There is a porta potty next to each one. There will be outdoor showers, but currently the shower bathroom, it's up at the barn. This is still under development, so more will be added with every grain bin having it's own unique personality. This is also the best views of bear lake that you can get. This area of the property often as deer rabbits, and sometimes even moose strolling through it. No wood fires during the summer months, as it's too dry. I will provide a gas fire for an extra cost.

We loved the site we had ( deep dish), it was so much nicer in person and the views were spectacular. Ben is a great host, very friendly and extremely accommodating. We also had a great time hanging with Ben around the camp fire and telling stories. We are looking forward to our next trip there Rick & Christie.

I follow Ben on social media and have been watching him build out his property for years. It was so amazing to see it in person. His creativity and workmanship is unmatched in my opinion. Our bed was comfortable. The showers were nice and hot. The vibe was super chill and relaxing. The bins were so cool to sleep in. Its hard to explain how nice it was to wake up in a cozy grain bin. It was windy and it rained while we were there but that just added to the charm and made me so happy that I wasn't in a tent.
There are restaurants and stores close by. The lake is amazing. I so enjoyed swimming and sunning then coming back to a nice hot shower and a walk in nature with my dogs. I should also say how nice it was to have that camping vibe without having to do a bunch of set up. We just carried in our stuff and took a couple minutes to settle in then we were off to adventures. If we had to set up a tent or even a trailer, it would have dampened the vibe and cut into our time there.
I love that this place is dog friendly as well.
We will be recommending this place to all of our friends and family and hopefully be back time and time again.

We loved this stay! The grain bin was super comfy, and the view was incredible. The shower was quirky but worked great. Beautiful spot to have a beer at sunset. Loved the native landscaping too. Definitely worth a stay. Ben is doing amazing, creative building here. Highly recommend!

Beautiful steampunkesque glamping spot with a million dollar view on a uniquely and well crafted property. All was clean, including the porta potty which was cleaner than some bathrooms I've experienced. Bedding was fresh and comfortable. Felt we had the whole place to ourselves. We were thankful to have one night of clear sky to watch the stars because it gets so dark out there. We'll definitely be back!

Thank you Ben! The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The view from the room is breathtaking with an entire panoramic view of the lake. We loved sitting out at night star gazing and listening to the sounds of the bugs at night. It’s a peaceful spot. Our dogs felt very comfortable we will definitely be booking in the future!

Beautiful, secluded area nestled into the hillside. Enjoyed the campfire, the trains passing in the distance, the soft mooing of the cows across the way, and the amazing star gazing at night. May be difficult to access with a standard sedan (we had a Jeep). Bring warm clothes/blankets for the chilly nights and enjoy the peacefulness!

This was a great site! Very private/secluded. The pond was a nice feature for the landscape. The pump for it makes sounds that might startle you on occasion at night. 😄 It was a lovely stay and will definitely book again in the future.

2 nights at Lazy 6-T Ranch
This A-frame was pretty much what we had expected: small with just two twin beds. With e tight room at the entry area for our gear and some appreciated “shelves” for lanterns, toothbrush, etc.
It was pretty wonderful to sit on the small porch and read, enjoying the view.
We were only inside the A-frame to sleep— we spent our time outdoors, hiking UP and UP to get to the old wagon ruts.
Hip Camps are THE BEST — if you really want to get away from the madding crowds at campgrounds.
The very best Hip Camps can figure out a way to provide you with two 5-gallon jugs of drinkable / potable water.
We are longtime camper types — so we can figure out how to bring in and conserve our own water…. But hip camp hosts would be wise to provide a couple of jugs of water if they want to attract those who are not experienced camper types.
At another recent hip camp in Maine, the property owner left jugs of water at a convenient location for us &,we put empty jugs there and picked up re-filled jugs. It was GREATLY appreciated!

We enjoyed our stay at the A-Frame Cabin! The location is super secluded and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The place is super simple, no frills, and great to get away. Definitely would recommend a 4WD vehicle to get up the road.

Beautiful location, very private and peaceful. Great views, easy to find. A frame was very nice, beds and linen very comfortable. Great little fire pit and grill outside as well, and outhouse available whoch was cleaned and stocked. Super easy check in and out process. My one recommendation would be to have a fire extinguisher on the premises (just in case). Would definitely recommend and would love to come back! My dog loved exploring the area and plenty of room for them to run around and sniff
