The Whynot Lodge

The Whynot Lodge is located in the Bighorn Canyon National Park, above the Yellowtail Dam in Fort Smith, Montana. Fly/Bait fishing and all water recreation sports are accessible. Plus hiking, mountain biking, and spelunking in ancient caves with 7000 y/o petroglyphs in them. We welcome artists, photographers, writers, and anyone who might be learning about a homesteading lifestyle.

Rock Creek Glamping Hideout

We own this property for over 20 years. 20 acres for our horses to roam and now we have decided add a cool place for guests to stay.
Please be aware of that this is a property where we do experience bugs, horse poop and some horse/trailer traffic. We are trying hard to keep bugs out of tents and the horse poop in the pastures. 

The two tents are located on our property next to some large cottonwood trees and our house is not to far. If you have any special requests we are happy to assist. 

Please ask us about our ranch eggs. We are happy to share.

We also own an outfitting business and take folks on guidedhorseback rides in the Bighorns for an extra charge.
 

Little Goose Tree Fort

Learn more about this land:Bring your horses and let them stretch their legs and fuel-up on pasture grass and creek water. Let the dogs run and splash in the creek with the kids or catch a brown trout on the fly.  Little Goose Tree Fort has it all!  Turkeys, pheasant, deer and bald eagles are a common sighting here.  Just off the beaten path, this property is a relaxing oasis for the Western traveler and you have it all to yourself.

Learn more about this land:We have quite location with breath taking views of the little goose valley and Bighorn mountains. Enjoy your stay  in Sheridan area with lots of dining and recreation activities within 20 minutes of the RV site. This is a rural setting with sweeping views and solitude located up 2.3 miles of well maintained gravel road.. There is no pavement, you may get your rig dusty. The pad is gravel, this is not the KOA... The pad is 48 ft. Gravel and within grade yet may require you to level your camper with blocks or jack.. We do have native wildlife and no they are not all harmless  or pets.... We look forward to sharing our home with you...
