The Vintage Camper is situated so expansive views of the Big Horn Mountains are at your sitting area. Convenient to historic Buffalo, Wy with good food and drink. This is a very historical area and the Gatchel Museum in Buffalo is a good visit. Also the Occidental Saloon is on main St., offers music and fun. Need a lake for dipping your feet...Lake Desmet is nearby right off I90. Devils Tower is less than 3 hr. away for a good days getaway. The National historical trail center in Casper is really excellent.

Learn more about this land: We are located near Leiter, Wy 82837 please search this and notice we are remotely located, not close to town. There are multiple spots to pick for pitching a tent. Decide if you’d like to camp on the banks of clear creek or on a top of a hill with a view. If you’re pulling a camper or driving an RV there are 2 easily accessible locations with access to power. Locations are near Clear Creek so you can enjoy playing in the water or take a hike through a pasture. There is a cafe and bar just 4 miles up the road. They also offer shower and laundry services. We are a real working cattle ranch and there is local wildlife to view. Please let us know if there is any way we can make your stay better, we are happy to help if you express any needs you may have. If something isn't listed, ask! Night skies are amazing and so is the peace and quiet. Perfect place to make base camp while you explore the area. I was in the wagon train business for years so I needed a place to put wagons, mules , horses, horse trailers and stack hay and store range teepees. This property is off the old Bozeman trail and the history is rich. Each camp site is private and not close to anyone or anything. If you enjoy quiet...welcome.Stock ponds are full and the green is back!! New baby twin antelope show up daily. Bring the kids and dog and enjoy the space and clear skies.

Please be aware of that this is a property where we do experience bugs, horse poop and some horse/trailer traffic. We are trying hard to keep bugs out of tents and the horse poop in the pastures. The two tents are located on our property next to some large cottonwood trees and our house is not to far. If you have any special requests we are happy to assist. Please ask us about our ranch eggs. We are happy to share. We also own an outfitting business and take folks on guidedhorseback rides in the Bighorns for an extra charge.
